Living Social Response to COVID-19 Coronavirus
Living Social Frequently Asked Questions on Covid-19
“Our Customer Service Team are extremely busy right now and we are taking longer than usual to respond. Thank you in advance for your patience.”
Can I place an order?
“Yes our website is still up and running. You can check the current delivery times which are displayed on your voucher or view progress on your my vouchers page.
Are delivery times affected?
Merchants are working hard to ensure we can continue to deliver within the delivery timescales but some of our merchants are working at lower capacity so please bear with them.
Is it safe to receive orders?
The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low. You can find the latest information on COVID-19 on the information pages of the UK Government and the World Health Organisation.
Can the expiration date on vouchers be extended?
We have spoken to the majority of our merchants and where possible have extended the expiration dates on vouchers that are due to expire in the next few months.
Can I change the date of my booking?
Once your voucher has been used to place a booking we’re unable to make any changes. However, you should contact the merchant to discuss the options available to you.
You will find their contact details on your voucher.
Can I cancel my voucher or booking?
If you no longer wish to use an unexpired voucher and you haven’t redeemed it we are happy to help you cancel your voucher and issue you with Wallet Credit for its value.
If you have already used your voucher to make a booking with a merchant then you will need to contact them to cancel it. Please be aware that this is subject to the venue’s cancellation policy.
Please note a merchant must authorise cancellation on a redeemed voucher. Any cancellations will fall in line with our standard ecommerce terms
If you are unable to contact the merchant Contact LivingSocial to let them know and they will do the best to help.”
