Alenda is a gently undulating course only about 15 kilometers Alicante. It is a Par 72, 18-hole course which you are sure to enjoy. The Roland Favrat designed Costa Blanca golf course was inaugurated in 1999, and this course is suitable for golfers of all skill levels, even though it has tough sloping greens, which can test your putting skill. The initial nine, tree-lined holes are spacious, but the next nine require a high level of accuracy and not just the ability to hit.

The central part of Costa Blanca, which is near Alicante, is home to some golf courses which are immaculately maintained. Bonalba is a gently sloping course which has been designed between the mountains and the golf course at Alenda offers a test to all golfers irrespective of their skill with its numerous water hazards.

Close to the ancient city of Valencia, golfers can enjoy two of the finest golf courses in Spain. El Bosque is an exigent layout and you can also play at the Olivia Nova and La Sella which are close by. Towards the south there are two latest layouts designed by Jack Nicklaus at Real de Faula. La Finca golf club is considered to be the most challenging courses on the Costa Blanca. It has the most variety of greens amongst the several golf courses here.

Las Ramblas, with slender fairways and speedy greens is also a good test and one of the other courses worth playing is the oldest course in the area, Villamartin golf club which is also renowned for its terrain. El Saler, a Javier Arana designed course is situated within the Albufera Nature Park, on the coast close to Valencia. The course is bordered by sand dunes and pine trees and sand dunes and has hosted some Spanish Opens.

Alicante Golf Club is designed close to the beach, this is perhaps the finest course designed by Seve Ballesteros. It is a very popular Costa Blanca golf course, and was inaugurated in 1998. The course is enclosed by a housing estate, and is designed with several bunkers, water hazards and wide fairways. This 18-hole, Par 72 course has chipping and putting greens, and a driving range.
