[Music] what’s up guys it’s day one of the OTV fitness challenge us three over here are going to be working with a trainer for the next 30 days to become big buff and lose some weight we all have our separate fitness goals and this guy is doing it by himself I want to do a handstand to you a elaborate I would like to be able to put my hands down and use them as feet like walk or literally just stand just stand I don’t aim that high I’m looking for like more of like a lifestyle like just general change not any particular goal in mind let’s keep stuff small I’m looking to lose fat gain muscle while still nursing my ankle I want to be able to lift jod if she’s falling off a cliff and I want to be able to touch my toes how much like training experience do you guys have in general I got punch in the head in the boxing event [Music] on there they are there they are what’s up brother my name is javiera I’m a personal trainer by title but really I’m a health strategist my job is to take your life your lifestyle and try to come up with the strategy that’s going to help you be successful day ones are always exciting because we have no idea what’s going to happen we have four weeks ahead of us to create change or to fail miserably we don’t really know the setup is great it looks like we have everything that we need to kind of pself forward for the next four weeks you’re going to have your own personal chef I’m going to write out an awesome program based on what I I think your body can do but at the end of the day it’s you holding yourself accountable you ready let me get three at 234. definitely sorry damn sorry and that’s why it’s so important to pair a good nutritional program with training and I promise you I’m going to do everything I can to get you there like training it seems like more like these are all just stuff you like I yeah I don’t really dislike anything very open to what whatever so no preference as far as dietary preferences but you admit to being picky very picky very picky no worries I just kind of need variety which I feel like that’s normal most people can’t eat the same thing six days in a row so I want to do like break dancing like one of the goals is like I want to do a wind meal like that is like the one thing I’ve always wanted to do dude break dancing is my background lit so did you do like six-step and all that kind of stuff too like honestly if you’re at that standard normal Place dude you’re you’re killing it but I will say this if you’re going to be going off on your own I want you to be super careful because handstands yeah they’re fun they’re all that but they’re also really dangerous if you can’t do that what’s the first thing that’s going to happen neck right I’ve seen people really damage themselves so take it slowly which I know for you is not a problem yeah good cool good luck so you’re by yourself for this do you have a plan for your 30-day challenge I’m going to starve myself they say Fitness is two parts exercise and diet I’m just going to take the diet part really seriously by not eating how are you going to learn how to do a handstand all right that’s the that’s my goal well if I’m light enough it’ll be easy right that’s how pull-ups work right it’s only hard if you’re big and a handstand is just a pullup but upside down I so curious to see how this goes for you like this feels pretty messed up my back we were just stretching on a foam roller but as soon as I went to my like lower back here I just felt like something like wo so I have to do a rest day it’s pretty much if you look do you notice how my left shoulder is like higher than my right it was something jod pointed out like 2 months ago and then I was supposed to get it aligned at the at the chiroprac here but I just kept forgetting I’m paying for it today now these are our snackies not only that they sent us a text of our menu oh yeah this is Super Foods all right it’s going to look like a lot of greens it’s literally every Green you need all right let’s do this yeah I just said no puppies in the gym we’re going to spend some time together and then afterwards all yours today is day one of the fitness challenge did you do anything to prep for today I prepped for today by getting violent High last night and eating Popeyes while playing OverWatch with my friends late into the evening I’m so good that’s how I prepped for this and then you’re going to vertically come down keep those elbows tight to the body pause right there and then up you see how we’re both uh engaging here and obviously the chest as well come on down I’m so excited to work out but I’ve done that before I am so so excited to eat well because I haven’t done that before I’m going to see a huge change in like my body and just physical health and mental health going to be great I’ll see you Friday but until then strategize your sleep schedule get a little bit Earl a little bit earlier every single day as best you can I right man I’m [ __ ] wow just super [ __ ] uh day one of 30 and I feel like [ __ ] so off to a off to a strong start cautiously excited for what we’re doing but I don’t think my body is going to enjoy what I’m about to be put through like I don’t need you to go 100 mph brother if right now we’re at 10 and next week we get to 15 and then we get to 20 and by week four we’re pumping great man like I don’t need you to rush to get there brother but I do need a little bit every day understand you feel me yeah brace the core yeah any pain right there a lot of it a lot of it okay a decent amount up pause one two better control it right there good and now sink that’s it that’s it yes these are it yes seven that was it yes now do that same thing on the incline now a part of your back you’ve never used this is the kind of stuff that matters to me all right this stuff drink some more water wipe yourself off [ __ ] Yeah we actually did a lot today brother should be really proud of that effort may not only be in your life for a short Peri of time but I will do my best to help guide you to help you get to whatever version of yourself that it’s going to help you be healthier brother I trust body day or whatever but that was like probably a year ago and I think I developed high blood pressure in between the last year-ish I was getting to a point where I felt like my heart was racing too fast and I he was like worried for me I had 3 hours of sleep today I feel like [ __ ] but um I’m happy I did it and I’m hoping that like I’m going to see some progress in 30 days for sure not worried that’s what I’m most passionate about you know people are going to probably watch this you know online and I can already hear like trainers coaches why is he having him do C stands on day one or like what is the reasoning for this and I can break down my reasoning for everything but at the end of the day what I care most is about sustainable changes to his life he moved his body he breathed he was sweating and he got a win if they don’t buy in they’re not going to do anything else you want so I don’t care how good your program is or isn’t because anybody can just ify any reasoning for any exercise if they have a good one but real change comes one step at a time and one day at a time and honestly I’m so proud of him today I’m leaving here this is why I love what I [Music] do good morning it’s day two um it’s the first day of like solo work this is day two of my fitness journey he wants us to do 10,000 steps a day minimally I want to be doing this about an hour every day that I’m not training we’ll see how long we go today but I’m hoping for like an hour hour 20ish today okay buddy I vomited I almost forgot to Vlog today today is day three and it’s been very interesting trying to upkeep all of this I can’t get pushed that hard in training right now because I need to get u high blood pressure medication as soon as I get that in April I think he’s going to push me even harder and I think that it’ll only be better from here on out Buck goes back Buck goes back right there and up nice work nice work Jody and Sean are getting food and me and John have to sit in the corner and wait because we have to eat our meal prep meals going in 3 2 1 let’s [Music] go my right calf muscle is pulling your right calf my right calf is pulling need a break I’ll be good A little cramp yeah that you need water you need a little more water okay good job brother go get your drink we’ll finish up I got in trouble he’s like wait slow down and breathe real quick and I stopped I’m like and then like after that he’s like go go get go hydrate go get your electrolytes like I got caught weigh-ins went crazy I I messed up and I didn’t do the the full Fast we were still down 6.6 lb and 1.4% body fat which is crazy to me I think it’s just like yeah just like the stra up diet and the steps probably doing it and now Sydney’s up morning howdy dude you’re late to the party no water I got yelled at what no water cuz he’s doing weighin I already drank water with my morning 8 million pills yeah I drank water too so the first weighs after the start of the challenge went really well so I am down 4 and 1/2 lb and I lost 1.1% body fat the workouts have been really good he pushes you really hard but he also understands if you’ve like reached a point where you need a break and like I try really hard to go until I actually cannot anymore but there will be times where I’m like can I just have a second he’s like take a second he’ll bring me my water he’ll bring me a towel or whatever and I get to like kind of cool down but they’ve been fun and interactive and like some exercises I know and some are new for me which is always exciting so doing good how you doing buddy I’m doing good all right let’s go weigh you in come on Yep this is day eight of our 30-day challenge it’s been about 1 week since we started exactly one week since we started working out he said I lost 6 lb uh I think that’s fake uh because he had me take my clothes off and before I remember I didn’t take my clothes off so like I’m it’s probably more like four or 3 lb have you felt progress do you feel like you’re feeling progress oh I mean it it’s like night and day a video of the first day I was working out it was like wasn’t comfortable with my body couldn’t do anything week later I feel great honestly in comparison I don’t think it was all due to the high blood pressure medication it’s just that my body got a little bit more comfortable with moving and I think that the cardio everyday has been help me a lot any word on toast we’ve spent our first week in the gym eating healthy and like spending every day waking up at yada y y I see that dude at like 300 p.m. he’s just woke up after a 13 hour TFT session cocaine bear says nobody’s killing me today [ __ ] you [ __ ] you so yeah I kind of forgot he was doing it toast where’s toast yo what up YouTube gang workout gang time for it’s time to hit the daily workout you know what I mean yeah you know I’ve been getting my sessions in whenever I can and I got a busy schedule with the whole Esports or and playing TFT hey you know when I do have time to hit the gym you know you know I’m working hard yeah well you know I do a variety of different uh cardio and weightlifting you know do these Push Pull segments so today is a pull day so I’m working on my biceps you know got to get that good pump in and after that like to cool down with a nice but rigorous run on the treadmill for about 20 minutes now it’s important to take break so usually take a 30se second rest between every set you know it’s important to be able to cool down let your muscles readjust I don’t know where toast is at [Music] welcome in hi today we’re going to be playing some ping pong it’s very exciting winner drinks okay everybody Cheers Cheers Che to pingpong to Ping friendship we’re drunk every’s gone morning how are you feeling going into your workout in WS today well I’m dreading it um I got really nauseous last night when I tried to lay down in bed so I just really don’t want to be here right now and but I am that’s amaz I didn’t even notice that the that is amazing no let’s go we are on day 15 is our 2E Mark weigh-in I was nervous initially for the weigh-in because I had just gone to Texas to go on this Eclipse trip with my dad I with Jodie had some barbecue had some sauces got flavor bombed by a bunch of [ __ ] and then we drank we drank last night we did drunk ping pong I don’t know how much we lost we’re we’re at 10 lb now though 10 lb I’ve lost about 7.8 lb is what he said uh and like about 1.7% body fat which is in my opinion pretty [ __ ] good there was a drinking stream last night that stream sucked ass because not just cuz of the a drink I couldn’t drink I also feel like if I’m on drinking streams it was like a responsibility for me to drink because everyone’s always like oh it’s that guy you know he’s the Drinker and also people ordered pizza and I [ __ ] love pizza so I’m just very sad not a lot changed I’m still down 1.1% body fat I’m still at like 151 lb which is like four I lost 4 lb I think Javier was telling me he can tell like in my face that I’ve lost weight which I also can and that kind of matters more to me than whatever number on the scale so I’m happy with my way in and I just feel better so that’s really what matters [Music] [Music] [Music] that shit’s ass whose cruel idea was it to sink around Twix Doritos the [ __ ] Doritos on the table huh I need to hit the free uh delivery fee just what the [ __ ] man do you all want to share what your progress has been like with each other if you’re on track that kind of thing I I lost uh almost 5 lb which is really cool down wow okay I can like deep squat with no pain my progress has been really good not about the weight right but I’ve lost about seven or 8 lbs I feel a lot better like I If you ask me to go like to like Japan and walk around CU my goal was that like I don’t want to go I wanted to vacation and be able to like actually like do stuff at the end of the day walking has been op though for weight loss all right toast how are you doing man I’ll be honest I’ve been to the gym once in the last 2 weeks oh my God doing it I’ll be honest I don’t know if I’m even going to start from the halfway point it might be a week before I’m like [ __ ] I got hand oh my I think Looking Back Now I think the trainer would have helped cuz right now my problem is consistency but my goal is to do a handstand in 2 weeks y don’t be great [Music] uh my sister and my niece are in town from Seattle and I took them to Easy Street Burger where I watched them eat juy cheesy Smash Burgers and instead I’ve come home to heat up my chicken and rice oh it was so hard guys it was so hard but I did it and I’m really proud of myself and now this meal is going to feel really [Music] rewarding I’m Vlogging this real quick this is my cheat meal these are all my carbs for the day though POV you’re my Chinese chicken [Music] salad hey what’s up guys it’s right after my workout I took a shower I don’t know I don’t know if this is a really a big deal or not um yesterday I had my blood work come back from everything the call was at 11:00 they called me at 10:30 and I’m like well that’s weird why would the hospital the doctor call me 30 minutes early I’ve never had this happen before it’s because I have diabetes I don’t know how else to say it man I don’t know what type it is I have no [ __ ] idea probably definitely treatable you know hard work and exercise and meal like they’re eating well but damn yesterday I found out and it’s kind of just been a I don’t know how to feel about it I’m going to take it seriously in the sense that like yeah I’m going full meal plan but hopefully looking forward to a good update in like a month or 3 months yeah I hope everything works out I was basically just waiting for it to happen it was bound to happen I finally got sick I think I’m going to set this session out which I’m happy about cuz it gives me a couple of days to get better but I’ll make up for it [Music] later John where are we we’re at the is it us or US US cryotherapy we’re at the US cryotherapy the last time I was really cold I was skiing and I froze my [ __ ] like like digits off so honestly I’m worried I’m going to just run out but what is the purpose of cryotherapy take it to this guy uh we’re looking to reduce inflammation uh improve over quality of life um better sleep decrease stress just kind of live a an active healthy [Music] lifestyle moving stretching you know dancing will all help um so you’re welcome to move around as much as you want there will be a countdown that’ll tell you how much time you have remaining while you’re in there when the session’s over the lights will flash at that point you just push the door open and come out cool all right you got this for you oh God my I’m so [ __ ] cold three minutes minut what 2 minutes remaining what oh my God 15 seconds remaining 15 lock in lock in oh my [ __ ] god oh my [Music] [ __ ] I think I started crying in the middle of that all right John time to go be great man give me that give me that I’m so cold press good boom boom anti-al flexion here and here and I’ll take it take a little breather check it out so we’re going to recover and we’re going to go again you tell me when you’re ready okay okay I think I just had one of my best workouts of the program today I had like good sleep I was eating clean no sickness or anything like that so the workout was really really good uh I think the biggest challenge as we’re going into our last week is how much like how many calories will have cut like on a normal day when I’m like working out I think I’m eating somewhere like 1,400 calories and I can tell like I am hungry I’m ravenous so I’m just going to lean on John and Scara for support because yeah I think it’s going to be really hard speaking of John and Scara how do you feel about your peers how you think they’re doing right now they’ve been doing so good they’ve actually like I’m I’m really impressed and proud of you know all three of us we had like a really long shoot OTV shoot yesterday where it was pretty physically intensive we were out in the sun we were building things and then afterwards Scara got right on the treadmill and we kned each other up he left I got on it and I was like yeah this like it’s really good and it’s hard for me like last night I didn’t want to get on the treadmill right like I didn’t want to do my workout but I could hear scar in there and I’m like okay if he’s going to get up and get it every day then like I got to get up and get it every day so I think that makes a really huge difference like having your peers do it with you where’s toast how’s uh how’s how’s toast has anybody anybody done an interview with him seeing how he’s what’s that guy up to hey toast oh hey oh hey broen what’s up what’s up what are you working on here uh you know I just had my workout and it’s time for uh that postwork workout meal that’s the most important thing cuz you have a meal with lots of protein a little bit of carbs and a little bit of fat you know it’s not all just about protein it’s a good balance cool yeah what uh youve heard of Dino nuggies well these are the the protein version of it was 50 % more protein than your average Dino nugie you know got hit those macros you know sometimes you know you want a bit of crunch so I got the Mexican street corn Cheetos over here now this isn’t your average Cheetos I know what you’re thinking Cheetos are unhealthy but this is protein Cheetos made with 67% more protein [Music] okay ready heel and toe and then don’t move okay okay getting on now got it go ahead and Hop Off brother and then um give me a second we get back on yeah we always said that the number didn’t matter right and then it was about the habits right still doesn’t matter still doesn’t matter the habits is everything but look at me right now I’m so [ __ ] proud of you I’m so proud of you okay the habits number one we see this m today is day 30 of our 30-day fitness challenge I assume due to his reaction that I hit 10 lbs I think overall I’ve lost like 10 lb since we started which is pretty phenomenal like literally like I what can I ask for 10 lb in 4 weeks sounds crazy super good s when you like did this and we flexed you appropriately it was like yeah I know I was like man I got to try a pullup soon look today is kind of like um end of the school year type party you know like where we’re going to move and do a bunch of stuff so like if you want to just try one today like for the sake of let’s do it man sometime when I was in school I broke the pull-up records for women and then that was when I was an athlete and everything like that and it’s been like probably 15 years and I can’t do a pull-up anymore and so this is going to be my first attempt that a pull up in a while okay brace up up get out of here get out of here stop let’s go no louder louder yeah the first pull-up in how many years probably like 10 go be great oh my God recovery has been really really hard for me and it’s just something that I was just like living with pain every day but I can confidently say I’ve been painfree for about like 2 weeks now maybe a little bit more and I just did a freaking pull-up so yeah I would say I exceeded my goals really let me see let me see like I want to feel yeah oh dud you’re right like it develops so much yeah man that’s awesome so glad you’re vibing off your own physique right now look it w my mental is electric now like 1 to two weeks in I was just like I was probably in the lowest but then I just kept reminding myself this is not sustainable for my lifestyle but like this is just a part of the challenge and now we made it so I’m just like I’m all smiles 3 two and that is a wrap on a 4we fitness challenge so proud of you bro so proud of you man what’s up guys big smiles big smiles you guys excited yeah yeah you want to see what happened what we did over the last four weeks y my brother William Scara in four weeks brother remember this one pound a week for four weeks is number please remember that that’s like the Baseline of understanding you guys know that right habits training nutrition if you have a mathematical equation to do all of that you can actually drop 13.4 lb wow 13.4 lb and 2.9% body fat crazy are you kidding me brother can’t wait to gain that all back tomorrow you better not I had a health complication come up in the middle of this something that I didn’t expect or didn’t know but then seeing active steps to kind of already address it it’s like see see a number go down that’s also really nice for me like I say it doesn’t matter but like it’s kind of nice it’s kind of what am I going to say it’s kind of nice and to know now that you’re on medication that you’re doing better you’re sleeping but all that stuff like that’s heartfelt my girl Sydney all right again what we talked about what was the number one goal for you functionality and Mobility ankle stability that kind of stuff and these numbers are nowhere going to near tell that story as good as they are we had our moments where you’re moving and you’re just like that didn’t hurt or it doesn’t hurt like that means the world to me like you know how hard it is you’ve had to struggle with that injury I know what injury is like we’ve talked about my injury history with all of that said even with our injury history 7 lbs 1.7% body fat and a functional ankle were you playing pickle ball after a workout pain free and everyone wants to get out of pain so the fact that we were able to get you out of pain and lose weight All Right Down the Line my man John 9 lb pound lost 1.8% body fat come on John 9 lb and almost basically 2% body fat so moving down the line toast here we are we are down 1.5 lb oh and Z we take those that and 0.5% body fat so hey man you know you went on your own you decided to loone Wolf it at the end of the day it’s it’s that was your journey and that was with you not fully being able to commit to a full program so hey man congratulations on still dropping some weight I don’t like the idea of us getting together and having all this positivity and sharing all these great things and not moving our body let’s move our body a little bit so everybody let’s get up we’re going to do one thing and everyone’s going to move their body real quick yeah one one attempt at a hand stand ready let’s all move let’s go let’s move so some of us had some explicit physical challenges and we’re going to test those right now starting with John 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 eight hop 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and 1 and 2 3 and four 5 and 6 7even and eight job buddy spider push-ups let’s go spider push-ups all the way over there okay let’s go ready and wide look at that can touch your toes failure hey hey we’re there I was I think it was like here before wow but now we’re like we’re getting closer so my goals originally I wanted to lose some body fat while like keeping maintaining or increasing muscle like two weeks in I was like oh yeah by the way I’d love to be able to do a pull-up I did a pull-up which was pretty cool my goal was to do a head stad M I did Honestly love the trainers energy and scaara is 100% real for saying that first workout is humbling cause it is when you get into it but it gets better everyday
I've never watched this channel before and I'm sure they are fun people in other contexts, but you all just do the cliché things the average gym goer falls prey to and then make excuses and continue to self sabotage. When you are cheering for the best possible outcome, it's so disheartening watching people make concessions and then justify it along the way.

I don’t know if Scarra will see this, but if by some chance you do, you are an inspiration for me. Watching you work hard inspired me to better myself and I’m proud to say after 3 weeks I lost 20lbs. I feel better than I ever have. Just felt like sharing 🙂
