now we’re currently on the 101 North exiting towards West Hills and unfortunately another fire has just started so to my left right there that’s the Palisades fire I believe and there’s now more smoke coming here we’re around I think 10 minutes 3 mil out and it started from 5 acres to 50 acres with a potential of 1,000 acres in the next 20 to 30 minutes we got news Choppers in the air uh I mean there’s just smoke everywhere to my left to my right here so stay tuned let’s see what happens what the hell they’re headed towards each other one guy’s going that way one guy’s going this way oh it’s shut down over there is the chook check this out this man’s got a right E30 M3 E46 and a Volkswagen GTI is that it I don’t know pretty sick Trio cars here though nice the Kenneth fire has already burned 960 acres and as we mentioned at the top of the hour this fire is now being investigated as arson one person has been detained by LAPD in Woodland Hills and has been taken into questing some evacuation orders have been downgraded but this fire went in the canyon essentially behind West Hills fairly close uh to Hidden Hills Woodland Hills but it kind of worked its way over more West than a little bit more north towards Calabasas that’s why the evacuation order was put in place especially for all the folks here on Las virgines and those people man they listened to that warning and they got out quick here we are we’re on the 405 South the palace State’s Fire is around 8% contained it’s around like 20,000 plus acres um it was looking pretty good the winds are moderate right now but there’s the potential that the fires can Crest over the hill near the 45 and the Getty Center got this massive wall divider here kind of blocking the view but you can see the uh the glow of set fire um there’s a couple friends that want to that might need help evacuating so we’re going to head over there real quick but my goodness gracious look at that glow in the sky it looks absolutely apocalyptic got some air units all the way over there but I don’t know two ridges out Flames are cresting over there but over here has made some pretty significant progress over the past 7 to 8 minutes so so we’ll see how the winds blow winds are a little bit low right now luckily it’s not too bad but got structures and houses right over here on mountain gate right off the 405 and gy so we’ll see so people here on mountain gate are semi evacuating we’re not really sure we still got two Ridge lines left look at this old Mustang over here on the four plate nice very nice always trying to car spot on a car Channel mind you a lot of new viewers here don’t realize I do run a car channel so 15 minutes worth Ash yeah it’s cooking man it is burning look at that crazy it’s moving pretty damn quick looks like they’re focusing a lot of efforts on that particular Ridge but it is expanding on all fronts over here at the top of mountain gate I give it about half a mile from here to mandavo Canyon down there and probably like another two miles to where that Ridge is so there’s the chanook doing a jop right there hold on we got like 10 News Vans over here the power literally just went out and we we got the fires encroaching right over here and let’s get closer to the action here go watch my step still wearing the sand baby you can’t see it air drops coming in ch s the round trip of them dropping and then coming back it’s like 7 to 8 minutes it’s pretty damn impressive hey live thankfully the winds have died down a bit for the time being but the Choppers are coming in hot over there we we got the structure protection units over here right next to the uh Mountain Gate neighborhood looks like they are pretty well equipped in case anything happens here so let’s go back over here take a quick look if you guys are Wonder like a good look of Legacy Media behind the scenes we got six seven or eight even more cameras with tripods a lot of professional equipment microphones reporters so we have the Atlanta assets moving in over there someone’s getting interviewed over here these guys are just getting b-roll you got photographers left and right taking photos and behind the scenes photos got a couple more newscasters over there 1 2 3 4 there’s two more all the way in the corner over there that you can’t see we got the Choppers dropping water cuz it’s getting pretty damn close to this particular house right over here and there’s like a whole stretch of houses right over there where we just were over that Crest so but you can still see uh you know some of those em being tossed and spun around you know fire likes to create its own weather system in itself so you know you see that uh you know firsthand and look at those Flames I mean it’s just it’s incredible to see these reporters they have a master’s degree in Yap inomics that’s right they a they’re able to Yap non-stop it’s a good thing I could learn anything in two from them cuz a lot of people they just you know they can’t talk for more than like 30 seconds straight great here we go we got a nice little job over here without like you know finishing a continuous thought the 24-hour news cycle is just brutal you’re just you just got to figure something out to say Non-Stop and I just don’t have that gift I wish I did I wish had I had a master’s degree in yapon namics oh man dude insane they’re all primed up for the the shot of the night we got the Clark County Fire Department over here rolling in ooh all right and you can’t see their uh lows or Insignia but here they come there’s like 8 to 10 air units in the air right now doing non-stop drops they’ve done an amazing incredible job and of course the win is at a minimum right now there it is Embers all over the place got the ground units in place most of the news people have left like I mentioned because there’s simply just no action or it’s past the Bedtime I don’t know either they went to another location so interviewing firefighters but I don’t think there’s anything happening here tonight and that is some good news that we all use a nice reprieve from all the chaos and the insane insane winds and insane fires that’s been happening over the past 48 to 70 hours so anyways we’re going get on out of here it’s around like 1:00 a.m. it is what it is mountain gate is safe ladies and gentlemen to give you guys an idea how serious they’re taking this particular uh mandatory evacuation here Ino and parts of brenwood and of course um where we just were on the oh more cops at every intersection and the yellow tape they have the resources National Garden Place look at this every single intersection taped off ready to roll got the cops there making sure no one goes there and does any sort of baloney or looting so we’re currently here near Van Ice and in looks like they commandeered this uh Hotel over here we got the Beverly Hills fire department and a bunch of other trucks over here as well very very sick dude Culver City everyone is locking in and getting ready just in case this thing Crest over tonight there’s going to be some expected bigger winds luckily last night they’re able to mitigate the uh the fire and push it back from Mountain Gate really remarkable for the topography that it is in how much they were able to actually stop it from coming all the way in the canyon and as you look through the fire perimeter line right here you can see almost the entire way through how they were able to cut it off just before it reached the bottom of the canyon the mandaville canyon Community it’s a very nice Community but the issue of it and you can see it from this map here the Topography is just how deep into the canyon it is and we know that the fires love to be able to run up and down a Hillside and in this community specifically you’ve got Hills literally on both sides of it that back right up up against uh these homes the support has been absolutely tremendous we got a drop off right over here right off of Ventura we got state and federal resources pouring in here look at this we got the National Guard oh that’s a nice little Flare from the Sun oh my God it’s Angeline in the Corvette let’s go it’s Angeline in the pink Corvette at Gelson’s here in Encino we got the state resources pil in over here we got the H1 Hummers and the armor vehicle with a local law enforcement that was a combo ladies and gentlemen angelene is an instant Hollywood Los Angeles staple look at this got the um National Garden Place here with their armored trucks to prevent any idiots trying to go in and do a little bit of looting if hits the fan here in enino Hills so each block has been blocked off and barricaded off with 5 cops LAPD Sheriff Department CHP and of course the National Guard look at this that’s the way it should be guys currently cruising down Malibu PCH headed towards the countrymart we entered through Canan all the other roads are shut down and we don’t really want to interfere with the emergency vehicles and the law enforcement that are handling that particular disaster so near the palestin so we’re going to check out Malibu Country Mark about a month ago while we were in Dubai there was the Malibu fire here right next to Malibu Canyon Road and pepperine they managed to save most of Pepperdine but this part over here not so lucky but I don’t know how many structures were lost it didn’t seem that bad they had a pretty tremendous response and they kind of sorted it out we got all the SoCal Gas trucks over here near where the Rouse is there’s probably like 20 30 trucks all lined up a lot of people are focused on the death the destruction and just absolute chaos of these fires in Altadena uh and of course the palisad and other areas but I like to see the behind the scenes of this entire operation so we’re going to walk around or actually drive around rather this place is completely dead this is the country Mar over here absolutely dead we’re going to try to see the behind the scenes of what it takes to run a massive operation like this to extinguish and put out these insane fires throughout this week so without further Ado we’re going to keep driving around and there is literally nobody here t ERS getting loaded up here as well lot of equipment a lot of La FD we got guys from Wow Sky Valley snow homish wow people from around the state and are from around the country are pulling up here to assist with the fires more uh water tankers over here West Valley City and we’re going to take a quick look oh there’s a fueld Depot over here the Fuel Depot for the uh fire fire trucks free water there we go very nice it’s always interesting to see the logistics Behind These massive fires this entire area is basically just closed look at this we got bainebridge Island fire department and then we got Po’s Bowl fire department got um places to eat porta potties a lot of trucks a lot of tents crazy this cooperation is massive and this is just part of it here near the Palisades area we’re not even near the command uh post of PCH cental Mason fire we got weed fire department I can’t read that for San Diego crew this is insane people from around the state and from around the country are pulling up got the mobile sleeper company here for people to take a nice little nap rest their heads after a long days of work goodness this whole behind the- scenes operation is honestly just as fascinating look how quiet it is here at the country Mark the Shell station PCH it is an absolute Ghost Town caution tape everywhere some of these businesses are still open too behind me literally nothing dude that is it I know it’s been said time and time again but we got to thank our First Responders all the firefighters all the emergency Personnel of course honestly everyone involved with this particular uh emergency disaster uh I just never see anything quite like it you know uh I mentioned my previous videos we’ve seen isolated incidents you know we’ve seen wildfires AC we’ve seen you know a lot of things on this channel not just cars but this is this is this is a defining moment in Los Angeles but I feel like the city is going to come together we’re going to pull together and we’re going to get past this and they’re going to rebuild so that being said check this out look at all this all the the gas company the SoCal Gas Company trucks and cars there’s like another 30 40 of them here there were another 20 plus at the uh Ralph’s lot I thought I was going to get closer unfortunately that just not the case we’re going to turn around here I don’t think they’re going to let anyone pass we got the National Guard over there um well that pretty much concludes our limited tour of the behind the scenes operations here near the uh Palisades fire I got to say that is a pretty beat mosan fake wrap two-tone the uh the rear is like shaking a little bit and then there’s like a massive dent on the uh driver’s side rear quarter four to 5 days ago this entire area was completely nearly empty they’re using as a staging grounds for all the firefighters here but it looks like they transformed this entire Rose bow parking lot into a massive Tent City we’re going to go over there and try take a look here but my goodness gracious wow tremendous effort guys all the heavy machine look at that bulldozzer the vk9 n86 wide load jeez in times of emergency situations like this and even in times of war the supply chains is what makes or break an army or a fire brigade or a fire Response Team like this look at the Logistics here we got trailers we got mobile command centers bulldozers field Depots uh water tanks all the food trucks are over here porta potties nice little lunch area for all the firefighters look at all this they brought their own sleeping bags and their tents at least some of them did I had no idea crazy it’s the kind of stuff that you don’t see on other people’s channels or on the news the behind the scenes Logistics of this entire operation near the eaten fire near Altadena near Altadena and Pasadena excuse me is absolutely insane look at this T City that popped up over the past 48 to 72 hours none of this was here on Wednesday and Thursday I believe we got like every imaginable law enforcement cow fire fire department from All Counties and States all amassed here at the Rose Bowl Stadium medium parking Elco County wow city of city of eon Saia fire Tahoe Douglas I believe wow caros River delta got myin County over there my goodness we’re doing like fire truck and fire equip equipment heavy duty rescue spotting here now it’s no longer a car Channel man the St Helena the white trucks pretty Min man good spec wow look at that trailer The Marin County CA rtf1 Special Operations massive trailer you only seen half of it right now we have a ride here at the Santa Ania Raceway I mentioned earlier how the uh roseb was not accepting any more donations they turned that into an HQ or a base camp for all the firefighters and the uh emergency Personnel so they transfer all the donations to the Santa anina Raceway let’s go check it out look at this assembly line over here people just dropping stuff off over there gets handed over one at a time all these Good Samaritans spending their weekend here to help out unbelievable stuff here look at that wow tremendous work guys there’s a lot of activity here a lot of people donating a lot of people needing stuff got entire truckloads baiting offloaded here depending on size men’s or women’s shoes got live bands over there got free food insane there’s a whole map over here too they got a map on a cardboard that’s to if you need something you know where to go crazy that’s s right we’re not showing the destruction the Mayhem and the chaos and the aftermath of s fires but we’re going to show you a lot of the behind the-scenes stuff that most people aren’t going to come here and film and show you guys but wow just an outpouring of help from across the community should warm anyone’s cold Steely heart look at they have a whole toy section over here for the kids food clothes water pre package food live band over here there’s a djross that we just passed near the Dr Pepper uh truck over there look at this event that’s just a taste of some of the behind the scenes of this crazy logistical support that these firefighters are getting now from the state level out of state and of course the federal level and then you have all the outpouring of support and don’t Nations at the Santa Anna or the Santa Anita Raceway the real question is how long will this generosity and the donations and outpouring of relief effort and support will really last um the people who are affected by the fires are in for the lwn haul it’s going to be a multie process relocating their families their loved ones finding temporary rent or a house or a hotel and then the possibility of rebuilding their house not quite Out of This Disaster just yet the Santa Ana winds are picking up later tonight it’s going to last till Wednesday so we have a Red Flag Warning and anything can happen a flare up Embers running around maybe another arson might be running around or another telephone pole or like a electrical grid might spark another fire we’re really not even sure how any of these started there are federal and state investigations happening very very soon stay safe stay alert be ready and uh if you guys want to help donate to the C cause and to the victims of this insane crazy crazy fire The WOOOORST thing about the news showing these fires is the amount of politics being ingrained into the story.
Regardless of how you lean, people on the ground here dont care about any of that. What they need is information where to go, where the fire is or how to fulfill temporary needs.
