  4. Nowadays the availability of food especially fast food, 24 hours food outlet is whats making the obesity be on the rise.
    That's when fasting is good, it gives your body a break.
    I'm on my day two of water fasting.

  5. I'm here in 2025 seeking to reverse diabetes.

  6. One big thing though… While you are fasting, say the simple 16/8 one, does it make any difference or is there a benefit to NOT having ANY water or anything during the fasting time? Normally, I do not have anything at all including water. BUT… is it BETTER to have water while you fast or is restricting water doing more for you during the fasting period.

    I'd REALLY appreciate some input on that one thing please. Thank you! 😊

  7. It drives me nuts what commercials they choose to run during health videos like this. Diabetes management meds and weight loss meds! Fasting can do the same thing but in a healthy way!!! The ones choosing the commercials look like fools!

  9. I’ve been training athletes at all levels for over 30 years and have consistently used intermittent fasting combined with neurologically focused, unorthodox training methods. It was a tough sell early on—especially with all the conventional beliefs about eating three times a day and following the food pyramid. But once athletes realized they were getting faster, sharper, more alert, and less fatigued—with no one ever passing out—those old beliefs started falling apart. The body isn’t designed to run optimally on constant fuel intake. When you train the brain and nervous system properly, everything changes.

  12. Never eat lunch for over 15yrs. Not because I'm following a recommendation, but it's because I don't think it's necessary since I won't pass out without it. I eat my supposed breakfast at 13h00

  18. I eat dinner around 5-6 and no food after that until morning 10 . I never knew this is called fasting . I was doing it to control acidity issues

  19. @DrJasonFung would a diet of fruits vegetables and proteins with IF 16/8 work to loose weight and get healthier??
