Everyone's always asking what should
I eat to boost my testosterone. Well, I'm Dr. Rena Malik, urologist and pelvic
surgeon, and today we're going to answer just that. What does the science say about
what kind of diet you should eat to have the best or highest testosterone you possibly can. If
you're new here, I'm a board-certified urologist, and I make content on urologic health, bladder
condition, sexual health, and much more make sure if you like what you see you subscribe
and share this channel with your friends. so to answer this question i'm going to dive
deep into a study that was recently published about the association of dietary inflammation with
testosterone levels so testosterone production is vital for a number of bodily functions and in
fact testosterone deficiency is present in 20 to 50 percent of men in regards to sexual function
sometimes that can present as decreased libido difficulty in achieving orgasm and difficulty
obtaining erections to really study how diet impacts your testosterone level a number of
studies have been done but this study looked at the dietary inflammatory index and what is
that so it's a scoring algorithm that takes the food you eat and assigns it a score based on
how inflammatory is it is it pro-inflammatory or anti-inflammatory and it determined these
scores by looking at a number of studies that were done comparing certain components of
food with the way our body reacts to them certain inflammatory markers in our blood and how they
increase or decrease based on the consumption of those things in this study they looked at a
national survey called the national health and nutrition examination survey this is developed
by the national center for health statistics to look at the health nutritional status of
u.s adults and this data consists of surveys that were filled out by people as well as certain
blood work and other measurements that were taken and in this study they looked at men over
the age of 20 who completed a 24-hour dietary history or journal of everything they
were eating and got their testosterone levels checked and this study included 4 000 men and
what they found was that men who had the most pro-inflammatory diet were 29 more likely
to have testosterone deficiency compared to those who had the most anti-inflammatory diet if
those men were obese that number went up to 59 higher so how does inflammation
actually impact testosterone production well when you have inflammation you have
higher levels of inflammatory cytokines or chemical messengers in the blood and this blood
creates an environment where there are lots of reactive oxygen species particularly in the
testicles and the testicles need a very specific environment in order to perform optimally
and produce testosterone so while this study doesn't specifically link causation meaning that
eating a pro-inflammatory diet doesn't necessarily cause testosterone deficiency it's certainly
correlated with it so what kind of diet should you eat you want to look for a diet similar
to the mediterranean diet one that is high in whole grains or complex carbohydrates not simple
white sugars but more complex carbohydrates like brown rice and oatmeal and you want to include
fish fruits and vegetables you want to include a moderate intake of things like olive oil
and you want to avoid butter and red meats so bottom line is there is no one food
that you're gonna eat that's gonna boost your testosterone it's a lifestyle change is it
easy well it's not as easy as adding a single ingredient to your grocery list but you can make
small changes and over time those will add up so start by just changing one meal or one snack to
be a little bit healthier and do that for a week and after you've mastered that you can go on to
changing other components of your diet slowly but surely and see how it improves not only your sex
life but your overall health and quality of life hopefully this was helpful as always remember
to take care of yourself because you're worth it

Rena Malik is certainly inflamatory. Spending a little time with her would certainly increase my testosterone.

Cut out red meat for testosterone 😂😂😂
she threw me off when she said avoid red meats lol, i thought meat helps with ur test levels
That’s 🐃💩
It's funny how others say to eat more red meat, then she says the opposite. Which one is right?
Almond butter
Almond milk
Almonds
If she opened the door to my exam room….my pants would drop off instantly. Ready for inspection! Wow
She said stay away from red meat. Then an add came on that said boost testosterone with steak and eggs. Man… fck the internet.
used vital test hub to check T and estradiol and oh boy the imbalance made sense once i saw the numbers.
Tumhare testice hai bhi
Avoid butter and red meat? Literally changed my life eating eggs and steak and am stronger than ever. I disregard what you say.
Brilliant content—thanks a bunch! The video was flawless, and I appreciated the pointers. I checked Simmy Krotiel's new guide and was floored to see four more inches after testing it. Awesome! I'll be goolging more soon.
❤❤❤
What kimda doctor are you? 😂😂😂 red meat and eggs is the superfood. Dont take advise from women
Subscribed because I definitely like what I see! 😉
But so does fish fruits and vegetables
I eat a lot of squirrels 🐿️ they keep me very up and Adam 😮. 🤦♀️
The best testosterone protocol is Complete Guide to Testosterone by James Francis. I had low T now I have the energy, morning wood and physical performance of youth at 47. Downside is that I have become noticeably more aggressive. But at least I don't need trt.
Oats is not good for you.. terrible advice
I went from 334 to 960 in around 3 months all natural no TRT. This book should be essential reading for all men. Why? Because most men are still making the same mistakes. Written by a 50s guy with natural T levels higher than most 20s guys
Complete guide to testosterone by james Francis
Avoid butter and red meat? Wrong
“Stay away from red meat” yes let me stay away from the food my ancestors lived off with 10,000ng/dl of test
Avoid red meat and butter? It must be opposite day. How about we add a bunch of soy products to our diet and chew on plastic while we're at it?
Avoid fatty red meat to help. Your testosterone? That's when I stop video 😂
Oatmeal has almost zero nutritional value please don’t spread this nonsense
A hot, intelligent woman doing a Testosterone Video for men… I thought that it was click-bait at first, but turns out, very well written. Thank you.
Is quinoa good for male sex drive?
Worst advice
Avoiding red meat and eggs etc is rediculous!
Just follow the FDA food pyramid people; the government says so. Foundation of Halloween candy, McDonald’s, lots of pharmaceutical drugs, Kellogg’s cereal, French fries, minimize movement because it’s risky and make sure you boost up on Covid 19 vaccines!
Sucking dick raises T
Babble ends and content starts at 3:05
Avoid butter and red meat .. and eat rice and oats abd fruit that is pure suggar ? Meat abd animal fat is the buildibg blocks of every tissue in the body includibg testosterone sperme and so one … you need to update yourself .. and by the way the so caled meditiranian diet has no rice or oats , it has eggs fish and tons of red meat … it is so stupid that people like you keep spreading misinformation …
This woman follows what the Elite of medicine tells her to say. She’s afraid to loose her license. 😮
Lady you are talking to Men

Another modern day doctor saying to minimize red meat…sigh.

Martial arts, real food grown by nature, adequate rest. Eating only every other day.
Complex Carbs, Fruits, Oats, etc. are bad for you. That for sure raises your insulin level, at the same time lowers your testosterone levels. They are inversely proportionate. Why do people still keep pushing this False Propaganda. What will raise your testosterone levels are a good night sleep, eat Grass fed (Eggs, Meat and butter), Lift heavy weights, keep Cardio to a bare minimum. Keep away from all types of Seed Oils. Make your body become insulin sensitive and not insulin resistance. That is the biggest problem we have in America. We eat too much Sugar, Carbs and processed foods and not enough whole foods. This is 1 reason out of many why men/boys today have lower T levels than 30-50 years ago.
How about women with low testosterone? Is this going to be the same
Boring get to the point oops took to long ill be watching dr berg or dr berry or dr brecka.
