good morning guys welcome back to another video today I thought I would bring you along on one of my very early mornings and share some tips and tricks on how I became a part of not the 5 a.m but the 4 a.m club right off the bat one of the biggest tips I have for a successful morning is preparing yourself the night before like you saw I had my outfit including my earrings prepped and ready to go on the bathroom counter so that that wasn't an additional thing I had to think about in the morning I'm an absolute sucker for a slick back look and since it only takes me a couple of minutes this tends to be my go-to hairstyle in the morning just like that in only about five minutes we are ready to go now you may be wondering why I'm getting up so early in the first place and it's because I do have a reception shift at our spin studio at 5 30 and in the mornings I do actually get to hop into the class and so here I am prepping my water bottle similar to preparing my clothes in the bathroom the night before I also took out my water bottle along with my BCAAs and kept those on the counter for me to get to in the morning these Peach candy flavored BCAAs by ehp labs are the yummiest thing out the door luckily I work at a pretty chill studio and so it only takes me about half an hour to get ready and another 15 to get there oh the first thing I do when I get to work is clock in for my shift and then I have a look at our notebook to see if there are any important notes for me to take into consideration during my shift and then after responding to some emails and getting to a little bit of admin work before class I check our shoes and start cleaning I'm only there for about a half hour before our doors open and I just keep myself busy cleaning until then I wasn't able to film in class but that class does run from 6am to 7am I sneak out during the cool down and then make sure that I'm all prepped and ready to go to let everybody out once the room has cleared I get to do a little bit more cleaning I get to spray the shoes and wait and then put away the laundry foreign [Music] our household is still pretty quiet and pretty sleepy so I tend to just stay on our main level tidying and getting our space ready for the day and then when my boyfriend gets up he lets koopy boy down and then him and I usually have a bit of a snuggle before I take him out now we've recently moved and we don't have a backyard which I thought was going to be such an annoyance with a dog but honestly it's been wonderful and it has kept us so much more accountable for making sure that he gets enough activity during the day he's just the best boy and deserves the world so these morning walks with him are definitely a highlight of my day [Music] thank you [Music] what's up you guys welcome to the official intro of today's video as you've already seen we got up nice and early this morning it is now 8 28 a.m and so we've already completed a fair chunk of our morning routine I personally really love my early mornings and I've acquired a few tips and tricks about how I became a morning person that I really wanted to share with you guys I decided on a whim at 10 pm last night that I would take you through my morning routine today and I've really enjoyed it so far I hope you have as well we're running a couple of promotions at our spin studio right now and so I had to stick around at the studio for a lot longer than usual but I've been home for about 45 minutes now and in that time I had my cookie snuggles I took him outside and then gave him some breakfast I also made a little bit of a lunch for my boyfriend he leaves the house at about 8 to 8 15 and so I just put together a bit of a lunch for him with the leftovers from yesterday now when I get my first Quiet make sure to check the description box down below another thing that I've talked about plenty of times is how important a clean and tidy space is to me and my productivity during the day so usually after I have that quiet moment to myself I will take a couple of minutes to do a quick reset of our home mainly our kitchen and living room so this might mean washing the dishes unloading the dishwasher and loading it again wiping our countertops tidying our bathroom folding blankets anything that generally organizes our space to once again set us up for Success during the day [Music] thank you [Music] now that I had those few minutes to myself it is time to get into things my schedule lately has been so crazy and I just have a ton to do as somebody mainly self-employed the only way that I can map out my day and get done is by creating checklists for myself besides pursuing content creation and fitness I also am a wedding photographer and July and August are the height of my wedding season and so I pretty much am shooting a wedding every single weekend I just had my first one last weekend and so I have thousands and thousands and thousands of photos to go through not only am I shooting Weddings But I'm also still shooting engagement sessions for those weddings coming up later in the summer and so things are wild it's a bit Mayhem on a Content front I would really love to make content creation my full-time gig and so I've created did a Content checklist for myself that I plan to complete every single week I have a ton of goals and I have high expectations for myself but it can be really difficult to stay motivated and driven from home I set my own hours which is such a privilege but especially in the summer time it can be a bit of a slippery slope because all of the nieces and nephews are off of school the family is camping there's lots of excursions lots of sunshine and so by writing down all of my goals and what I want to get done and need to get done every single week in order to get to where I want to be it just helps me stay much more diligent and driven and focused during the week I batch edited a bunch of short form videos yesterday so I'm gonna get a couple of those done and checked off of my list after that we are gonna head downstairs for a little morning flow let's get after it now I know this doesn't look like much but in case you're wondering what I'm getting up to I'm either posting shorts reels or Tick Tock videos responding to comments writing captions finding hashtags anything along those lines and then before settling down at my desk for the rest of the day I decided to get a little bit of movement in you'll hear me chat about this but rest in recovery is something that I often neglect and so it has been my weekly Focus for the past couple of weeks as somebody so young I'm already experiencing too many pains and aches and so stretching is a huge priority for me right now I want to take care of my body and I think that rest and Recovery is exactly how I'm going to do that and be able to maintain all of my activity for a long long time [Music] I notice such a big difference in my body even if I just stretch for five ten minutes especially with all of the activity that I do I really need to prioritize rest and recovery so much more that's one of my focuses today so just did a quick little 10 minute stretch nothing too intricate nothing too straining or serious now I was going to shower up and get ready for the rest of the day but my mom and auntie and I walk our dogs together every single morning and we're gonna go do that in about half an hour so before I go outside and get all sweaty again I'm just gonna keep this on make some breakfast and then wrap up our morning routine I adore my breakfast so let's go and make that right now yeah now again if you've watched some of my previous videos you will have heard me say that I'm not a huge Brookie gal however breakfast has been growing on me I was in a bit of an avocado and egg toast phase but now I am in my yogurt granola fruit bowl era particularly because nectarines are in season and they are my favorite fruit so I cannot go one meal during the day without a nectarine or two Cooper takes after his mom and also loves fruit so you just know that I had to treat him with a little bit of a banana he also got some strawberries but I didn't film that now I'm allergic to oats and so I really shouldn't be having this granola but we're just sending it and made our breakfast before any of you guys call me out I pre-wash all of my produce as soon as I buy it so don't come at me we have some plain yogurt with nectarine banana and strawberries some granola and then honey drizzled on top I'm gonna go devour this enjoy a little bit of downtime and then I'm gonna take koopy out go meet my mom and auntie and then I am glued to my computer for the rest of the day with all of that being said this is the end of our video I really
