what's up guys actually this episode ain't for the guys but if you guys have girlfriends or females in your life this might help them so stay tuned watch all the way to the end so you know i get that youtube money because that 50 cent really helping out today we're going to talk about polycystic ovary syndrome recently on social media there has been a lot of talk about the best diet for pecos and pecos is an endocrine disorder that is characterized by multiple cysts on the ovaries although it doesn't always have to have that some of the symptoms are difficulty getting pregnant cysts in the ovaries as we talked about endocrine disruption leading to irregular periods as well as some other symptoms well why do people connect peacocks with diet one of the contributors to pcos appears to be insulin resistance you don't have to be insulin resistant you don't have to be overweight to get pecos but women who are overweight or have insulin resistance are more likely to develop peak costs so people have looked to nutrition as a possible solution one of the pervasive things being said on social media is if you have pecos you need to do a low carbohydrate diet in order to treat your pea costs a low carbohydrate diet may help with pea costs insofar as it can help you lose weight losing weight getting to a healthier body fat has been shown to help with pecos however there is no evidence that a low carbohydrate diet is superior for pea costs in fact there isn't really one best diet that stands out as being best for pecos there are some studies that show that a higher protein intake may help there's also studies that show reducing the glycemic load or glycemic index of your food may help even when people are eating the same amount of calories that was just one study i want to make too much out of it but at the end of the day it's mostly about getting to a healthy body weight if you're overweight or obese now the thought process behind low-carb diets improving pea costs is well if they're insulin resistant you need to do a diet that reduces this insulin secretion and so that will improve pcos even better this is a common mistake that we've talked about a lot on this channel and that is people assume that a short term response from a hormone is indicative of long term outcomes if that was the case high carb diets high carb low fat diets would produce drastically greater rates of insulin resistance than low carb diets that does not appear to be the case when calories are matched in fact when calories are matched whether it's low carb or low fat both improve insulin resistance especially when weight loss is involved now there's some some evidence that a low carb diet may improve that slightly faster than a high carb diet but in the long run the results do not appear to be different if people lose the same amount of weight now again i'm not saying a low carb diet isn't a great option for pecos it can be as long as it helps you create a calorie deficit lose weight and get to a healthier body fat now one thing that does appear to make a huge difference with pcos is exercise exercise was actually shown to improve fertility in women with pecos more than drugs that is really impressive so if you're not exercising you need to be finally there's also a pervasive notion that women who suffer from p costs have lower resting metabolic rates than women who don't most studies that examine this other than really one the majority of the studies show absolutely no difference between metabolic rate and women who have pecos versus women who don't now that being said women who suffer from peak costs may have lower total daily energy expenditure simply because they don't feel as good they might feel more fatigued and simply not move as much not intentionally but unintentionally throughout the day so that is a possibility even though it really hasn't been shown in the literature regardless what seems to help with pcos is similar to what helps with most things when it comes to nutrition and exercise consistency creating a calorie deficit to lose an amount of weight that gets you to a healthy body weight and exercise no magic plans no magic protocol increasing your protein and switching to lower gi foods may help a little bit more but at the end of the day it's mostly just about finding something you can be consistent with over a long period of time alright guys hope you liked the video if you liked it make sure you hit that like button subscribe to the channel and check out some of the products and services we offer in the description

So is low carb bad in any way?
Cool vid, feeling every cyst dissolve in seven weeks was like my insides high-fived me! A blog's holistic steps were pure gold, bloating fading in two weeks. Just goolged Tilly Strankten's Guide, a health lifeline I can't stop sharing, finally. Thanks for this video!
Was interested in watching this, then heard you call it “Pee-coss” and immediately stopped the video. Nope.
I haven't been diagnosed but it fits and I've started the diet change and got a treadmill. I dropped 8 lbs last week and I've been stuck at the same weight no matter what for over a year. Now I do high protein and fiber also no gluten. I feel so much better already!
To the women watching this , may your face be clear of acne and faicial hair, may your womb be healed , your ovaries be anti cyst, your hair be thick, your weight be in control, your organs be healed and protected, you cycle every month , and you carry and birth healthy, beautiful babies 👶🏽 😘 ❤❤❤❤
Is drinking coffee good or bad
Ppeekaass… Oh, please don't ☺️
Idc how he pronounces it, im here for the education
Pfeffer Valleys
What is Pee Cause? The term is
P. C. O. S. (Pee see oh! Esssss) OR poly cystic ovary syndrome. I cant watch the video peecause every time i tried i cringed. 😅
How much hours you saved saying :peecoos" instead of P.C.O.S???
pee caws
Lol the first 5 minutes of this video and you talking about carbs just let me know you have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about.
False pcos OR AS YOU LIKE TO CALL IT IS PEECOSS PCOS STARTS AT PUBERTY YOU ARE BORN WITH IT AND THAT CAN CAUSE INSULIN RESISTANCE WHICH MAKES YOU GAIN WEIGHT. MEN LIKE YOU WHO ARE FITNESS BROS SHOULD NOT TALK ABOUT THIS CONDITION. I follow a nice chubby guy on YouTube that has the real facts about this condition
He lost me at peecoss
Lmao so how do you work out when you don’t feel good
Pleeeaaassseeee don't mispronounce the disease name. I swear if someone asks me "Do you have PeeCaws??" because of this video and then tells me it's caused by weight gain, I'm gonna commit vandalisms.
Only partially related, PeeCaw is a cute name for grandpa crows.

I couldnt even watch this after hearing the way you say PCOS🤦🏽♀️
This video is very informative but just to let u know pcos is not developed it is something u have ur entire life. Yes it can get worse and better but can never be cured. I am glad to hear that exercise is better than meds. I have always wondered if women with pcos could get rid of meds. I didn't know u could.
I am blonde so I don't have extra hair. But I do have acne that I would do anything to get rid off. What should I eat? Not eat?
Pcoss? That’s not how it’s pronounced. And it’s ovarian, not ovary. There are two ovaries.
Research the bean protocol and Unique Hammond. Reversed my lifelong PCOS.
I can’t watch this video if he keeps saying peecoss
Wow, what bunch of whining women who sound like they're PMS-ing or something. Getting triggered by this tells us you have more issues than PCOS. Back in the day we pronounced it pee-cos, so who cares? I think we have man haters here, and nothing less, period. Oops, I said period, now we're going to get more whining. Geez!
🤦🏾♀️ I stopped listening when he said IR and over weight can develop PCOS. It’s the other way around budy.
Please do a vid on Lipoedema 🙏
When I was keto I actually had an ovarian cyst rupture, I seriously thought I was dying the pain was insane!! Pcos is a struggle.
OMG please stop calling it peecoss. Literally never heard anyone say that before. It’s grating
The fact that he couldn’t say PCOS correctly had me not believing anything out of this man’s mouth.
Talking about fatigue is a big issue for me. Ive read alot people saying there fatigued with pcos. Idk if me being fatigued is 100% related to pcos but i been so fatigued for years. Its ruining my life. The only thing that keeps me going is i dont have a choice.
Ugh, you YouTube health gurus keep telling me to exercise. It's almost like I already know I should move my body more, but I'm lazy and tired and don't want to… 😅
I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and am hopeful that it's one of the main reasons I feel crappy 24/7. My diet is definitely on the poorer side (I looooove animal crackers…pure garbage) but enjoy healthy foods, so I just need to kick myself in the butt and get rid of my sugar stash. Lactose is probably also an issue, I put a nice pour of heavy cream in my coffee every day. Sigh.
Thank you for the quick, concise video, it reaffirmed what I didn't want to hear! haha
Who actually calls it "Peekaws"? Lol
It's just P.C.O.S.
You are a legend! Thank you for this valuable info!
Saying that there's no evidence that sugar intake effects PCOS is absolutely false. As a doctor you know this.
They prescribed Metformin to treat PCOS. As a doctor you know this also. You also know what Metformin is.
You got on here and deliberately misinformed women. Shame on you.
Never say Pee-cost again. Thats you being lazy
P-kos 😂😂😂😂😂 how cute
What about all the talk about avoiding red meat?
I’m in my late 50’s had all the symptoms of PCOS but never once did any doctor mention it as a possibility even when I was undergoing fertility treatment. It wasn’t until recently when I learnt more about it that I think it is why I could never conceive. I don’t know whether it was not known about much back then or my doctors were just ignorant. Of course internet was in its early days back then, no Dr Google or YouTube
Great info but the “peecoss” is bothering me so bad, this video was painful to watch.
Would be nice for more content in regards to this. My wife suffers from this.
Just wanted to chime in and say this was incredibly valuable. Thank you for making it. Absolutely got a sub from me on it.
But I love carbs :/
Thanks for this video, though I'd be interested to see studies on low-carb versus keto diets in relation to pcos, because they are different. What's considered low carb today isn't really keto
Pee-cause? 😂
P COS is not how you pronounce PCOS. If you don't know how to pronounce it call it by it's original name Stein-Leventhal syndrome. Hearing you call it some strange name is really horrible to people who have it, even more horrible hearing it from a man who doesn't.
P C O S is hard enough, and having people just spreading info without doing the basic of research like how to pronounce the name correctly. I refuse to listen!
Thank you DR OLOWO ORE HERBAL on YouTube I was seriously diagnosed with PCOS for like 10years now, after 10 days of using DR OLOWO ORE HERBAL I was revived back. Am now 2months pregnant 🌴
