I do agree with Dr. Luiza Petre. Intermittent fasting really works.
I lost 45 pounds eating once a day in the evening. Around 6pm .
I started the day drinking plain water all day until dinner time.
Water is the best detox to your body, mind and spirit.
Water also makes your skin look smooth cellulitis free.

I have been doing If since Covid, Breakfast at 8am Lunch at 2pm n no more meals after that. I sleep at 9pm n wake up at 5am, l do the treatmill for 10 min, after warming up do cycling for l hour. At age 73, still working from 10 to 6pm, semi retiring, enjoying my life, do nt bbelieve in medical card, our body is our doctor, just take care of ourselves n our body will take care of everything.
Anyone that cannot cope with 13 hours including the night, not eating, has issues

You can lose weight by "intermittent eating" also. Like, when you eat reasonable portions of food during the day, intermittently.
I do the same now ! 12 hours + window! The key is not to feel hungry by eating a healthy fulfilling lean breakfast ! You really don’t feel hungry!
I tried working out and saw no results. I tried dieting and saw little to no results. When I started fasting, I finally got the results I was looking for. My journey is still not complete
Notice how these morning shows always seem to throw shade at the guests presenting fasting as a weight loss tool. They must be getting kickbacks from big food.

I use the 16/8 interval daily. Works well for me. Been doing i.f. for 18 months and maintaining a 50+ lb loss. It's so easy.

I use to fast in high school all the time. That was 36 years ago. It worked, I also lost 50lbs in 2015, but went through a divorce. But now I'm older I need to get the mind set which is hard for alot of people. 😢

I tried eating windows and I felt too full and bloated. I prefer full days of fasting, I barely even notice because I eat a decent amount and filling foods the day before.
Another good one is remove added sugars from your diet. I lost 20 lbs in 3 months doing that.

A whole chaos of mixed info online, intermittent fasting just works – period. Takes discipline though, gotta ignore those "cravings" – not "hunger" — "cravings." Real hunger takes many days to truly experience, read some true survival stories where people are lost in the wilderness without any food and you'll understand. We've just gotten too comfortable confusing cravings and a little stomach growl as "I'm starving to death" when the mental and physical health benefits of cutting back speak for themselves.

I've been doing fasting for about a week now, I do an 8 hour window of eating and 16 hours fasting – basically, from 8am-4pm. And I feel…free!!! Free from diets. I've lost about 1kg so far 🙂

They don't say you feel like crazy going hungry during fasting and what to do. I found out Cinammon tea, mint tea, orange tea and other such nice flavored teas help my stomach from being hungry and keep me away from making me feel like going through the worst time ever, torturing myself.

Also, fasting can be very much a spiritual practice. When I’m hungry, I pray and read the Bible. If you do it for God, He will really help you and strengthen you, and then the physical benefits are just a bonus on top of that!
I do the 16:8 window. The first month I only lost .8 of a lb. I lost 16 pbs. in five months. Have been plateuing for the last three months. Starting exercising and lifting weights to keep motivated. At times, when I wanted a Thanksgiving feast, cookies, etc., I allowed myself to do that. It is very flexible. If I get to feeling deprived, I just eat what it is I am craving. I don't do that often though.
Intermitent fasting is my hope to lose weight from xxxl to xl.
Not trendy at all. The Creator designed us to feed this way. Give your digestive long rests and see what happens. Also it should matter what you eat even if you follow intermittent fasting. Junk is still junk.

I IF for a year and it was like magic; lost my 10-15lbs, but year two was as if my body figured out what I was doing and not only I gained what I lost and gained an extra 7-9 lbs.
This is year three so let’s see if it remembers yr2 and goes into my 16/8 success rate again…
I am doing something similar to IF. I just started eating breakfast or lunch close to noon. I stopped eating after supper. No rigidity. 2 lbs. a month is my goal. Patience. If I get hungry earlier than 10 a.m., I
eat. I am not critical of myself. I don't count calories. I eat what I want, but as healthy as possible. Stopped with the rules and making it an all or nothing game. I don't call it intermittent fasting so it isn't labelled. It works. Have lost 16 lbs. in six months with a low thyroid problem. Cannot lose weight, but this is working. First month I only lost .8 of a lb. I told myself, in about nine days another lb. will drop. It's ok. It will stay off. Not hungry most of the time. Eat if I get hungry and can't wait so I keep motivated. I eat foods I like. When it becomes about rules, that is where diets don't work. It has to be sustainable and this is for me. I am not a dr. Ask your dr. about it. I used inflation to my advantage. I don't like cereal, oats, and most breakfast foods. Once in awhile, I want a good yummy breakfast and I eat it without guilt. As long as the weight comes down and my health improves, I will keep at it. I will stop if it negatively affects me. When you see people with health issues that are taking their quality of life away, it makes you think about what you are doing to yourself and how to do better. Still learning here.
I do it differently. I don't eat after 6pm and 12 noon . And I walk every dat exercise a little. I'm 53 and this is day 11 while I'm writing this. So far so good!

Im muslim. 1 month of fasting. People always look at me like im crazy. They say it’s unhealthy for you but they dont know anything. Fasting is the best thing for you. Fun fact, cancer rates are the lowest in the middle east areas 😊 and its because we fast.. this fasting will change your life. You will lose weight, you will keep off the weight, and you will fight off disease.
