I have PCOS and was told an underactive Thyroid oh and IBS too and honestly , it is becoming so HARD for me to lose weight. Max i have lost is like 5 pounds with calorie deficit . I could literally eat one meal per day which i have tried and still no joy!!! I work out 4 times a week , weights and cardio , low intensity, high intensity… it doesn't matter … hardly any of it works 😂 my stomach gets bloated for no reason . I have hair where i shouldn't. Stomach hurts 75% of the time , i get hiccups a lot , tired a lot , random pains everywhere else … honestly , there needs to be better solutions in managing PCOS and IBS as hardly anything seems to help . I don't think other people understand how much these conditions take over your daily life and because you are not visibly in pain i think people think oh , they are fine. 😂
Omg i relate
Hello everyone. I’m writing from Poland 🇵🇱 I want to share my incredible journey with PCOS. For 5 long years, I struggled with symptoms that affected every aspect of my life. But everything changed when I stumbled upon Dr. Okouromi's YouTube channel. His holistic herbal approach resonated with me, and I decided to give it a try. The results were nothing short of miraculous! Dr. Okouromi's herbal medication and body cleanser worked in perfect harmony to address the root causes of my PCOS, and I was completely cured within just 3 weeks..🥰🥰🥰🥰
Why can't heavy weight please clarify?
Okay there’s a ton of confusion in the comments and so I’ll just say what’s working for me? I have PCOS and had irregular periods since puberty. I found excersize embarrassing and boring. I didn’t eat the best as a kid and as a young adult, until recently, I followed the same patterns. But a year ago I started wondering how much my diet and excersize would impact my reproductive health. I started by cutting out most added sugar and then all. Sometimes you miss some and it slips in- learn to live without extreme control or you’ll develop an ED. I started adding new foods to my diet rather than subtracting. And I started to drink around 100oz of water per day. This quickly impacted my metabolism which is new for me. My periods became fairly regular. I was also doing yoga and getting a good 7-8hrs of sleep. For some that is impossible I understand. At my next app I had lost 65 lbs in just about a year. I have been now following a 2000 calorie diet (2400 during menstruation) and maybe slightly less during the unapetite phase of ovulation. I started going to the gym. Here’s what’s showing me results: 5 days a week for just about an hour and a half: 5 minute little warm up walk followed with weight/resistance training towards either a specific muscle group or full body. Followed by 25-30 minutes of moderate-intense incline walking. It’s not necessary to go over 9 incline- at that point use the stairs it’s better for your ankles trust! But that’s just me and I’m really only saying this because the confusion in the comments and the people left wondering with no answers about it. Maybe it will help. Always check with your doc tho.
This is true. The more intense my workouts the more weight i gained. I lost 5 pounds from walking alone.
I am doing chloe ting's workout. Will it help .Anyone plz suggest

Why do people assume every woman facing pcos is over weight.. There are so many people who are underweight as well😢
Is skipping exercise too much while having PCOD?
Hi! Thank you for all the helpful info. My question is this: can we lift heavier weight? I’m trying to build muscle and lose weight concurrently and struggle with high cortisol and don’t want to worsen it
Can anyone suggest, what weights of dumbbells should I start with?
😑But, running makes me happy
Pcos weight loss I done this growwtihjo and it worked
i have pcos.l'm 42 kg so i don't want weight loss .what can i do?🥲
There's no need to work out for pcos. It's all in our food that we require. I missed my periods for a month and went to doctor and after ultrasound I was diagnosed with PCOD and luckily the thyroid was negative . Then my doctor suggested to take some medcn and along with that work out daily yoga and bricks walk , detox drink like ginger, lemon etc, diet for pcod, and apple cider vinegar. So I started workout yoga and all that doctor suggested me. Within 3 days I got a fracture on leg during workout. So for that I was got pluster on my leg. And was adviced to take bed rest for one month. So I had to cut out all the workouts , walking , and yoga . I was on bed for one month with. Pcod and leg fracture. And as I had to take medcn for fracture so I was suggested to not take pcod medcn for 3 month. That time I was on so much stress as I wanted to get rid of pcod and have my period soon. But all my activities for pcod was eliminated and I was on bed. I was frustrated. But thn I realised that the only way that remain for me to get rid of pcod soon is just my diet. So I started diet. For pcod. I started taking detox drink like ginger tea 3 times a wk, apple cider vinegar 3 times a wk, eliminated all fat from my food, eliminated oil , started taking very low carbs, I started fasting for 12 to 16 hrs daily. And started eating fruits like pine apple , lemon drink, papaya etc. i was skipping my dinner daily, started taking lean protein, and I was eating small cup of rice and curry for lunch only. And for breakfast I was on salad, and sometimes I was taking heat compress to dissolve my cyst. Ang guess what within 1 month I got my period naturally without any workouts, any medication , any yoga or walking. Just with strict diet I was able to got my period back. I was was able to get rid of belly fat , and my weight came into normal range, it was unexpected but happened. I was thn relaxed. After all that I realised that I got PCOD from my food and unhealthy lifestyle. And the only way to get rid of this is to avoid unhealthy food. It is all in our food. Every disease is in our food and every cure is in our food . Within food our life and health revolves around.
Yoga is best
Can we do yoga ?
Totally agre
Yep so true, spent years also working out like crazy did nothing but stress me out and my body, Pilates, walking and barre workouts have helped me greatly, the greatest tip this one.
Is Pilates good exercise for PCOS?
Please any one explain about work out for pcos ?
But I like 80s aerobics and jazzersize 😭
I'm in such a hard depression rut right now. I can't find the motivation to exercise
What about dance workouts?
Whole social media lies about PCOS. Really glad to come across this video. You are addressing the science behind pcos. Slow is what will help. I have been doing rigorous workouts, my weight didn't change a bit also. Neither helped the pcos, rather worsened
Totally agree with u
I love to sprint on the treadmill though 🥲 I still do LISS but running hits different 🥹
I feel better with cardio than weights. How much cardio is too much? This is so stressful
I just do running it helps
☝️☝️☝️ Truly, natural remedies do work. If they didn't, we wouldn't have used them for thousands of years. And, pharmaceutical companies wouldn't be studying plants, taking extracts of them, and patenting them as drugs. This is not a claim or lies I was cured of PCOS, and my friend was also cured of Chronic UTI by Dr. Egobe herbal medicine in case you are having any health challenges you can contact him and also get a cure too, through him you can get pregnant and have your baby.
His WhatsApp number on ☝️
I cannot find any research to support this claim
I guess that explains why I never felt "good", like healthy, when I was doing a lot of cardio in the past. I rather felt swollen and more tired. I've switched to pilates and low impact weighted workouts and I didn't expected the results I'm getting. 💛
I was doing "growwithjo" workouts but realized I was doing way to much cardio. I started focusing more on kettlebell workouts and still doing a growwithjo workout here and there. This has been such a game changer for me, I instantly started seeing a difference/really enjoying the workout bc it wasn't as fast paced but still really challenging
