Companion ticket included: Enjoy your adventure with a full-day ticket for one companion, allowing them to ride the steam train while you take the reins of the locomotive. End-of-day responsibilities: Wrap up your day by ensuring the locomotive is ready for the next day's service, giving you a taste of the real responsibilities of railway operation. Comprehensive instruction: Begin your adventure with a safety briefing, followed by a guided tour of the Heatherslaw sheds and hands-on instructions on driving, firing, and preparing the locomotive. Hands-on experience: After raising steam and preparing your loco, you'll attach it to an 8-coach service train and complete five full round trips to Etal, providing an authentic railway experience. Perfect for: This experience is ideal for train enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike!
