  22. There is such a thing as good multitasking. Physical tasks match well with mental tasks- like driving and conversation with your passenger. Most of us do it because it does work- what doesn't work is trying to do two physical tasks at once (texting and driving being one of the worst matches out there), or two mental tasks at once (conversation with balancing a checkbook). That is what will damage performance and may even put you in danger. But good multitasking matches can enrich your life.
