welcome to a guided meditation for emotional detox on declutter of the Mind in this practice we'll focus on releasing and letting go of the emotions that may have built up over time emotions both positive and negative can linger in our minds and bodies leading to stress and tension and so this practice will help you identify process and release these emotions allowing some space for clarity and calm and so let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position sitting upright with your back straight but comfortable taking a deep breath here in through your nose relax owing the air to fill your lungs completely holding it for just a moment and then exhaling slowly through your mouth releasing any tension you might be holding here e e and now gently close your eyes starting here by bringing your attention to your breath and the body breathing on its own allowing your breath to return back to its natural Rhythm allowing your breath to Anchor you into this present moment e e and as you settle into your breath let's bring some gentle awareness to the body and so beginning with a quick scan from the top of your head to the tips of your toes and as you scan noticing any areas where you might be holding any tension right now maybe your shoulders your jaw stomach or anywhere else e and as you notice these areas you can consciously release the tension with each exhale e e and now let's move to the emotional aspect of this practice and so bring to mind any emotions that you've been holding on to it can be stress worry frustration sadness even some kind of unprocessed Joy and so when you bring this attention to this emotion there's no need to analyze or judge these emotions we're simply noticing what's there and then acknowledging them as part of the current experience and so as these emotions arise try to observe them as you would observe a sensation in your body where do you feel these emotions is there a tightness in your chest a heaviness in your stomach a lightness in your heart and so bring attention to how these emotions are beginning to manifest themselves physically in your body e e e and now with each breath imagine that you are breathing breathing into these emotions so you're giving them space to exist without any resistance here and then as you exhale visualize these emotions slowly dissolving being released from the body with each breath out and then continuing this process for for a few moments breathing in acceptance and exhaling release e e e and as you do this if your mind starts to wander we just gently guide it back to the breath and to the emotions that you are working with in this moment and again the goal here isn't to force the emotions away it's to observe them accept them and then allow them to pass naturally e and as you continue to breathe and release imagine a sense of lightness filling the space where the emotions once were and so with each exhale feel your body becoming lighter as if a weight is being lifted off your shoulders and then allow this lightness to spread throughout your entire body creating a sense of calm and clarity e and take a few more moments here resting in this space of emotional release notice how you feel now after allowing yourself to observe and let go of these emotions e and when you are ready you can slowly bring your attention back from these emotions from the breath and into the space around you noticing the sensations in the body the feeling of the ground beneath you the air around you taking another deep breath in and then fully exhaling letting go of any lingering tension slowly open your eyes and notice how you feel thanks for sitting today and I will see you next time thanks again for taking the time to practice if you've enjoyed this practice please be sure to like And subscribe you can also join and become a member and receive access to courses and more head on over to declutter themine.com for more and download our free IOS and Android app

  1. I would like to discuss the specific emotion of fear in the context of this meditation for discussing our emotions whether positive or negative. Fear is a natural emotion which appears to be present in all living creatures. For some reasons it takes on an unnatural interpretation in human beings. We often view the feeling of the emotion of fear as a lack of courage. Feeling fear has been often labeled as a lack of courage. We label fear as a lack of courage because as this meditation instructs us we have not yet mastered the art for accepting the feeling of fear and learning how we can then observe it for what it is and gradually let it go dissolving itself in our minds until it dissolves into empty spaces in our minds and thereby fades away. If we can train our minds, and we can retrain our minds, we understand by actually experiencing the fading away of feeling fear, that we do not have to be taken down by fear. ADB,MD

  2. I have been meditating on emotional detox since two months regularly. Extremely effective to calm down your nerves and becoming aware of your wandering mind.

  3. Really excellent! Helped me feel better.

  4. This meditation worked wonders to allow me to release the "toxic" effects of the strong emotion of frustration! I was made uncomfortable by frustration in 2 different ways: first I felt my whole body was tense: second there was a feeling of discomfort in my mind. If that is all the toxicity I felt at this time the poisonous cause I reacted to in the way I describe I can accept without complaint! It could have been worse if I had followed the frustration with anger!

  5. Thank you for all your wonderful meditations.

  6. My reaction was heavy… but I hope that it cleared my mind and sadness. 🙏🏼

  20. I think the 2 most detrimental emotions to affect my comfort and mental balance are "being a worrier" and "anger"; For whatever reason this morning I have not been experiencing mental worry or any mental imbalance. I am calm and feeling comfortable as I go about my morning business. Not feeling worried, when it happens. helps feeling calm and peace of mind. For me, having reached this goal is a great satisfaction for me.
Achieving calm and peace of mind has been my greatest desire and passion for as long as I can remember. I think many people would like to have this satisfaction and I can assure it has been done with time and practice using DTM guided meditations. ADB,MD
