I felt so much better after I stopped eating sugar. I stopped eating processed foods & sugar cold turkey. What helped though was I incorporated foods with natural sugar like apples and honey. Not a lot, just enough to curb the craving. After about 2 weeks off processed food & sugar I found I wasn't craving any sweetness.

I thought i didn't have sugar addiction until God revealed it to me in 2018. I was having excruciating pain in my knees during the night and couldn't sleep. Meds just gave me gastritis and lasted only 2 hours and then the pain would wake me up.
I was not only in pain, but i was chronically deprived of sleep too. Pain and stiffness were so bad i couldn't get up from a seating position without lifting my self up by supporting me with my arms. I feared i would dislocate my shoulders.
I was desperate and prayed for healing. Within a few days i received a thought CUT OUT SUGAR. I knew it was not my thought, because it surprised me. I also know the Lord speaks to me through thoughts.
I did cut out ALL sugar except fruit. A week later i suddenly realised i had no more pain and stiffness and i slept through the night. That was Sept.
I carried on like that until Christmas, when i cheated, having a few sweets. Pain and stiffness came back and i was in agony again. So it was confirmed sugar was the culprit.
I told my orhopedic drs about it and they said they never heard of it. I asked the Lord for a revelation what sugar has to do with joint pain. Pretty soon tge Lord ldd me to watch a YT video about hiw bad sugar is for joints.
An American dr explained how sugar produces Fibrin, gibers, in the synovial fluid and how they clump together and cause pain and stiffness in the joints. Wow.
I told my drs about it and they still had never heard about it. In 1year of just cutting out sugar i lost 11kg or 24lbs, no exercising and dieting.
I am 70 now and am pain n stiffness free, sleep like a log. But, my cartilage in my rt knee is damaged. That's a totally separate problem.
Basically it’s like coming down from a drug, yet our kids can buy it by walking into any store or vending machine.
