[Music] i built holistic family practice to really educate people on how to live naturally specifically how to educate families to live naturally a lot of times i'll start getting i'll get the child or i'll get the mom first and then because the work that we do is so effective then we'll get the neighbor the husband reluctantly you know the mother-in-law and then it just you know the co-worker and it just grows and grows and grows and that's because the nature to which i built the practice so i built the practice to really educate people about their health a lot of times many of us have gone through health class and we didn't really get a lot of information practically we got some you know the food pyramid and all that but we really didn't learn how to apply these things especially because at that time our parents were making our food so we really didn't discover how to eat well how to be natural to how to be healthy and some of us weren't even raised in a healthy environment i was very fortunate to be able to be exposed to so many different natural and holistic things growing up so really it's it's very much a part of my dna and a part of my everyday lifestyle but a lot of people unfortunately don't didn't have that growing up so our practice is really designed to help educate and motivate people to live a holistic lifestyle we teach people how to live a holistic lifestyle and so we do that step by step so unlike a traditional doctor's office where you go you'll run a lab you'll do some diagnostic and then they'll give you some sort of treatment and then that's it we really slow you way down and we educate you step by step about what's actually going on with your body how it feels so that you can intuitively start to click into how your body feels so i tend to see patients a lot more than your standard pcp or medical doctor would i see patients about every three weeks and the reason i do that is because we're really trying to shift behavior so i'll initially see the patient for their consult their review then they'll come back for their comp physical and then eventually their general visits and from there i see them every three weeks so it's like the first week you have you know all this information you're super motivated i give you the task that you need to complete you're like oh my gosh i'm getting it done all right wonderful and then the second week you start to wane a little bit and yeah you're not doing as well and then by the third week you're right back where you started but perfect you see me again so then we work you through step by step so after about a year of that typically most people will come in preventative care i see them every three weeks after the year is up then we step the patient down as long as the patient is doing everything that they need to do meaning that they've been following you know a healthy holistic lifestyle they've been looking at their mindset their emotions they've been eating well their numbers are improving with their labs all these different factors of msp scores come down so at that year end some patients go you know what i learned it great i'm gonna i'm gonna work solo some patients go you know what i still i got my training meals off but i still need a little bit of support so they'll step down to quarterly and then then i work with them every two months a lot of our families go into quarterly you know because i i really don't need to see the kiddos that much kids are actually really easy to work with and we teach our kids really how to to be healthy and how to be well which is really cool so we really are practices designed to educate you and give you the tools it's like that teach a man how to fish sort of thing i don't want to be anybody's guru i don't want to constantly be the source of information i want to motivate inspire and educate people to live a natural life to take this into their families to take this into their communities and really be inspired by the information and then from there they're on their health journey they're moving things they're shaking things they're learning things they're growing things they're evolving and they're really being able to live a holistic lifestyle for years to come lastly i always tell people you're gonna be in your body longer than i'm going to be in practice so you definitely want to make sure how you can take care of it without me and so i'm really excited to be able to have helped so many people really live a holistic lifestyle you
