today I'm sharing the fastest way to get major weight loss results with intermittent fasting and it all boils down to four really simple tapes we're all super busy so let's just jump straight into it the first is that you really need to pick the right fast longer isn't always better fasting for too long for your body can cause you to not get enough nutrients for your body's needs which can result in muscle loss a slower metabolism and possibly even increase insulin resistance on the flip side too short of a fast and you're not going to get any of the benefits of an intermittent fast for That Sweet Spot of weight loss benefits for intermittent fasting I usually recommend between a 14 and a 16 hour fast although there are some that thrive on even just a 12 hour pass like Yi Len who lost intermittent fasting tip to speed up your weight loss results is to eat protein fat and fiber rich meals during your eating window this is huge for speeding up your results because so many people just eat the wrong foods and break their fast with the wrong foods and it just ends up reversing a lot of the progress that they made with their intermittent fast especially if those foods are really insulin spiking insulin is our storing hormone and one of the main reasons intermittent fasting is a great tool from a weight loss perspective is because it's been found in naturally lower insulin levels during the fastest state which turns on fat burning so if you break your fastest the types of foods that really Spike insulin you could essentially be reversing all of your progress instead   1. Also dont eat early, skip breakfast. when you eat breakfast you are more hungry the rest of the day and its easier not to stick to a fast.

  2. no offense, but between 14 and 16 hour fast? wtf? That's almost what normal people do without even trying. 18 hours is minimum, and if you want to lose weight go for 1 meal a day only, and carnivore,

  5. Hi Autumn some of what you say does not align with a world expert in fasting, Dr. Jason Fung. He advocates for prolonged fasts for fat loss. Perhaps read his book, The Obesity Code. It may change your opinions.

  6. Is there a certain time to be able to eat pasta, or bread for a sandwich? Once a week, once a month? I’d like to have that option once in awhile. If there’s a video I should watch, point me in that direction. I’ve watched many videos, but maybe not one regarding bread and pasta.

  9. what about drugs.. I take some suplements, antistress ones, and a antidepressant that actually takes my anxiety away, for the most part… could those be messing up my IF? one of the supplements is supposed to be taken at most an hour before going to bed, which is few hours of my eating window. it has melatonin, so, it helps me sleep I can move the morning supplement and the antidepressant one hour later when I want to start my eating window, but the evening one… I've looked up ingredients, none of the mentioned is a carb, but, they only list active ingredients, okay on second look it has microcrystal cellulose… you think that could be enough?

  10. I've found, once you figure out how to make any "good habits" just part of life, the easier it all gets. Today it was 35 degrees out, but not walking my 3 miles, was even a thought. I doubled up on hoodies & went out(still had to wear shorts, didn't spend a year learning to tattoo my legs, not to show it off, hahaha)… Thanks for all the help, hope all is well, take it easy.

    I use to work out 2 hours and do tons of cardio. Now I walk or do my eliptical 25 to 30 min and strength train 40 to 45 min 5 times a week along with of course intermittent fasting 16/8.
