No matter if your goals are to loose weight, build muscle &/or gain strength, you should first have the goal of moving well & often to build movement longevity for life. During my early career as a physical therapist I did a clinical rotation in a skilled nursing facility and I was able to see many people who later in life needed help doing the most simple tasks like getting out of a chair or walking down the hallway – often because they lacked movement capabilities from years of neglect. While full pistol squats may not be something Everyone can do – single leg squatting like this person is showing is something almost everyone can do & should train to help maintain this functional independence for life. . The secret is not what your physical workout the secret is what you eat, sports improve your health 20% your eating behavior will improve it 80%, I do only one HIT/ one jogging per week for 35 minutes for more that 15 years now, and I eat two meals per day breakfast(eggs olive oil, goat cheese, green tea) and lunch at 3pm, that’s all. and everybody says to me that I’m 20 years younger to my ages Good luck to everybody
When people in the comments say “oh she looks so youthful” as if 46 is old… 😅 in reality it’s not…. a healthy lifestyle allows you to look and move how you should regardless of your age. People are so use to seeing people look older because too many people don’t live holistically healthy. It’s starts with what you put in your body (and on it), movement, sleep and managing stress….
