Muscle Recovery: How Long Should You Rest Between Workouts?

what is the adequate time to rest a body part specifically biceps so if I was going to train my biceps I would give myself five to seven days rest in between some research shows that you need 72 hours to you know when you train a muscle with volume uh to recover that muscle group so I would say definitely 72 hours rest uh before you train it again not to say you can't shock the body and train it you know several times if you want to do biceps three times a week it's a smaller muscle group but remember recovery is when the muscle is growing so be be choosy about how you rest and how you monitor your workout routines and uh always focus on the growth

  8. In high school when I played football we worked out Mon – Fri and rest sat n sun I remember seeing great results between me and my teammates

  22. 72 hours rest is optimal if you're working out your biceps, high volume.

    You CAN workout your biceps 3 times a week since it's a smaller muscle.

    Be choosy.

  23. I'm a landscaper so I never can get 72 hours break , will I still build muscle if I have to workout every day! Or are you saying If you don't take a break and rest your muscles, they won't grow because they are constantly hurting! I bought, I've been a landscaper for 20 years. What lately I've been. I'm working out as I work in my own way.And I'll tell you what gets you sore
