are you free at 800 [Music] p.m. the uglier that you go to bed every night the hotter you will wake up welcome to my night routine self-care Edition it is 7:00 p.m. and I am starting the self-care Night by the beach currently sitting at this bench I got myself some Tender Greens I have a little salmon in here my green juice and this is such a Vibe I'm in Santa Monica I'm loving my POV right now I'm sitting right by the iconic houses and this is making me so nostalgic because I used to come here when I was [Music] little tonight we will be getting into my self-care night it is currently 8:00 p.m. so once a week I like to dedicate a night strictly for self-care I have a couple of self-care non-negotiables that we're going to be getting into tonight like taking a nice warm relaxing bath getting into my comy PJs lighting some candles playing my favorite music and even just scrolling through Pinterest is a form of self-care for me the first thing I'm going to be getting into right now is taking a bath I just know that as soon as I get in there I'm going to feel refreshed and like a whole new person [Music] while I'm preparing the bath we're going to be getting into my body care routine I made myself some tea I remember a year ago I had gone to TJ Max and I picked up this Indian healing clay mask which I never really ended up using that much basically it's just powder that you mix into a bowl so I just finished mixing it and it came out a little chunky looking but I just added in a little bit more water now I'm just going to be taking my face mask brush and just put this all over my [Music] face now that I have my face mask on I'm going to be getting into dry brushing my body doing this is an essential step of my body care routine because this right here is how I keep my skin feeling so smooth and if you're not doing this already what are you doing so basically anytime before I get into the shower I dry brush my entire body there's a method to this you're supposed to do this with nothing on but because I'm filming I'm just going to show you how I do it on my arms and my legs I learned that you're supposed to start off by opening up all of your lymph noes because when you're doing this you're helping your lymphatic system so usually I start off with my legs kind of just brushing up I was told to not apply a lot of pressure when dry brushing because the lymphatic system sits right underneath the skin once I'm done with one leg I'll go up towards the rest of my body this is literally just exfoliating your [Music] skin I am in my bath now I'm probably going to be in here for like 20 to 30 minutes until I have to take my face mask off I was being indecisive about which book I wanted to read but I decided on this one it is called 101 essays that will change the way that you think I feel like I'm always buying books starting them and never finishing them this is one of the ones that I started a little bit ago never fully finished it I kind of just want to start it all over to refresh my brain on a lot of the things that the book was saying so this is going to be the skincare lineup for the night this little towel makes me look so silly I'm going to be using some toner pads I remember getting these when I was in Korea and I kind of like to just stick these onto my face I'm pretty excited because once I'm finished up with my skincare I'm actually going to be trying out this Dyson air stener which isn't mine my friend actually left this here but of course I'm going to be using it I've been dying to try this and see if it's actually good so stay [Music] tuned I decided to put my hair up just to get it out of my face while I quickly get into some skin care and body care I left the toner pads on for a little bit so first I'm just going to be putting on some of my nighttime serums I have this Fenty eye cream that I'm going to be using it is now 900 p.m. and I'm not going to lie I'm getting kind of sleepy I feel like I run out of energy so quickly and I better not even think about wanting to fall asleep soon because there was still quite a few things that I wanted to get into tonight I recently actually just bought this pink so de Janeiro body lotion I had the orange one for the longest time but I finally finished it and so I decided that I was going to try out the pink one and this one smells so much better the last thing I'm going to be doing right now is my gacha routine so I do have two different gacha this one's the one I use for my face and this one is the one I use for my [Music] body so I just put in all of my hair products every time I'm out of the shower I always brush my hair with a wet brush this brush does the best job at detangling my hair I am not going to be trying out the Dyson air straight for the first time ever I'm so excited this is basically a hair tool that is supposed to dry and straighten your hair at the same time using no heat it's not damaging to your hair at all and I've been Dy to try this out because I've been debating buying one for myself so let's see how good it is wo this thing just fully dried and straighted my hair honestly this is so expensive but it might actually be worth it I'm pretty happy right now I'm going to be finishing off my hair with some of this jiu hair perfume we are in the kitchen now I was thinking I want to do some baking tonight I just feel like that is a mandatory activity to do for self-care nights there's this one recipe I learned for strawberry jam danishes that I was thinking of doing tonight I'm pretty sure I've baked this on my channel before but I just know I'll feel so much more accomplished if I bake something on my own tonight instead of going out to the store and buying myself something so let's just attempt it and see how it goes [Music] I feel like I'm having a Nara Smith moment right now literally cooking these from [Music] scratch so while I have my stuff in the oven let's get into a foot mask I also just turned on my TV right now which is funny CU I actually have my TV on the floor right now I'm still trying to figure out where I want to put it I'm just going to be vibing to some music tonight I haven't been watching any new shows lately I just feel like I don't know what's good you guys should give me some good show recommendations in the comments these look a little crazy why do these look so big they feel so cold okay now let's do the other one they do look a little funny I usually leave these on for about 20 to 30 minutes I've never tried these specific ones my mom actually bought me these I'm trying to get the Vibes going right now I'm going to go check on the [Music] oven I already took a Chomp she is delish so on my coffee table right now I brought out my journal with me I'm just going to be taking a moment right now to unwind I usually like to use some time at night to do some journaling and going over what my plans are for tomorrow [Music] which do you want okay we're going to do the black [Music] one I was about to go to bed but then I remembered I have to feed my cat and let me show you the dinner this spoiled cat gets every single night [Music] I just refilled my water bottle before I go to bed I always need some super cold water to be able to just grab in the middle of the night I know I shouldn't be on my phone or my laptop right before bed I always end up doing it anyways I've made it a habit to scroll through Pinterest every single night and honestly that's just how I end up getting a lot of my inspiration for my content I usually just save a whole bunch of stuff pin things into my Pinterest boards write out all of my content ideas and it just always leaves me feeling super inspired other times if I can't sleep I also have my switch right here on my nightstand another thing I'll do is read one of my books that I have here I really bought my cat some cute pink PJs so that he can match me during the night routine but he's too chunky and he doesn't fit them properly they're like squeezing him I feel kind of bad I think I'm going to take them off I am finally in bed and I'm about to let you guys in on some of my nighttime routine secrets so basically the uglier that you go to bed every night the hotter you will wake up and that's a little warning for you because I'm about to make myself look super questionable I have a whole bunch of my nighttime routine Essentials laid out here so as you guys know I love my heatless curls doing this has been such a game Cher it just saves me so much time in the mornings it's literally so quick I already finished one side and it just makes it so that I wake up with cute hair next I recently invested in one of these hair silk caps which I couldn't believe that I didn't discover sooner I actually like sleeping with this over my heatless curls this helps with keeping the heatless curls in place and it also makes it so that I don't wake up with frizzy hair so as you can see I'm looking a little insane but just trust me on this whenever I take my hair out of this in the mornings it looks so good next a couple of things that I like to do right before I go to bed is doing a lip mask which I already have on I also like to go in with a lash serum this is the Lash and brow serum from the ordinary and I don't really use this on my brows because I already naturally have such bushy eyebrows but I will go in with this on my lashes because right now I'm currently taking a break from lash extensions and I'm actually trying to grow out my eyelashes so I'll just put a little bit of this on my lash line I am now just going to be going and setting a whole bunch of my alarm to make sure that I get up early tomorrow I am going to be going to bed pretty soon you guys should let me A few months ago, I used to feel so embarrassed about my body. I wasn’t even overweight, but I just didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. No matter what I did, I wasn’t happy with myself.
