Signs You Have a Thyroid Problem #shorts

Thyroid disease affects one in five women and one in ten men, yet 50 percent of people with thyroid disease go undiagnosed. The main role of thyroid hormone is to stimulate metabolism, and it affects almost every function of the body. That’s why thyroid imbalance can cause so many different symptoms.

In today’s episode of my series I’m calling Health Bites, I talk all about three big hormone disruptors: thyroid, cortisol, and sex hormones.

You can find the full episode on The Doctor’s Farmacy.

we are inundated with a thyroid problem because our thyroid is like the canary in the coal mine it's super sensitive to all sorts of environmental toxins to stresses in our diet to gluten and low thyroid function affects one in five women and one in ten men that's a lot and half of those cases they're not diagnosed and even if they are diagnosed and treated with conventional therapy which is usually Synthroid or T4 it's not adequately controlled or treated so what causes low thyroid function or thyroid imbalances well there are a lot of things that cause what are the symptoms let's just go over those first you may not really identify this as a thyroid problem but you might have a little of this and a little bit little depression a little dry skin a little hair falling out a little constipation low sex drive maybe your cholesterol is a little high maybe your nails are cracked maybe your your hair is thinning maybe you're having eyebrow loss maybe you have muscle cramps maybe you have trouble sleeping maybe you feel a little fluid retention and tired all the time you have trouble getting up in the morning these are all clues that your thyroid might not be working right and and often you just go to the doctor and you get the regular test and it may not actually indicate what's really wrong

  15. How do I find the root cause of my Hashimoto’s? So far my T3 and T4 are normal and TSH is a little high. No symptoms. But thyroid antibodies are super high. I’d like to find out why these antibodies are attacking my thyroid before it is destroyed. How do I start? My PCP just wants to give me hormone replacement, which won’t fix the problem, I think.

  16. I have experienced everything you mentioned and my RNP prescribed syntheroid. I had gone to my 700+ town's clinic for years and not once did I get to see an actual doctor. I was never told what caused the thyroid issue or how to help fix the problem. I was told I would have to take syntheroid every day for the rest of my life. I also have severe neck and back pain but when I complained the RNP simply told me to eat better and exercise, like the pain was because I weighed 140 pounds at 5' 1". I ended up moving in with my son and his wife temporarily, in a large city, and upon doing the tests, x-ray, MRI, etc., I was told I have fused discs in my neck and back, RA, diverticulitis, high BP, gallstones, and a few other things. Even though the new Doctors diagnosed me properly they prescribed more medication. I took BP medication for a bit because I had two mini strokes. Luckily I took a picture of the facial drooping because by the time I got to the ER, close to the small town when I moved back home, the ER Doctor said I wasn't having a stroke. He took me seriously after I showed him the picture. I'm done with conventional Doctors and now understand why my late mother never trusted them. She started buying books about natural remedies. She lived to be 93 and a half! I'm following her lead and am learning all I can. I have made better progress in two years than I did with Doctors in 12 years. I had gallstones and they wanted to remove my gallbladder. I asked about alternatives, which after doing research made me hopeful, they said there was no alternative and that was that in their eyes. I did intermittent fasting and drank roasted dandelion, detox, antioxidant and ginger teas and no longer have any pain. (I'm not a Doctor, that is just my personal experience. Use your own judgment for your situation.) I'm still learning but I'm much happier and healthier. I am extremely grateful to you, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Dr. Axe, et al. Thank you for all you do! Blessings to all!
