if your doctor says to lower your salt intake to treat blood pressure I disagree there is a better way to treat blood pressure and you must treat it blood pressure is the most vital metric that you control to be healthy this should be a public service announcement for everyone even if you don't have high blood pressure I'm going to give you the tools to prevent blood pressure from being a problem let's start with salt manipulating your salt is the short game the long game the way to Mastermind and win is to control your hormones so why do I want you to have lower blood pressure even if salt isn't the answer well it's because of what happened in 2015 the Sprint trial this has changed the way I treat blood pressure within my career before this trial I told patients to keep their blood pressure in the 120s over 80s that's the top number being 120 milligrams of mercury to pump the blood forward and when the heart is filling the relax phase of blood pressure we wanted that pressure to be 80 milligrams of mercury or less prior to this trial there was an argument that we were being too aggressive about treating blood pressure so they divided patients into two groups one who let their blood pressure drift a little higher like in the 130s and others who kept their blood pressure below 120 and Below 80 and the trial was stopped early because it was deadly deadly to keep that blood pressure in the 130s over 90s in other words you lived longer and protected your kidneys eyes and end organs when the top number was in the 11s and the bottom number was in the 70s let's take a step backwards this process that we are trying to manipulate is a closed loop fluid system a hydrostatic system there is no pool of fluid a reservoir somewhere where you can manipulate the pressure inside those hoses of your body the arteries and veins within this system we care a lot about how much fluid are you pumping around how fast you're pumping around and this results in a pressure so that pressure causes the damage when the pressure was higher the endothelial lining or that skin layer inside your arteries would become hardened it would change things like the glycocalix and increase the hardening of your arteries by changing what those cells look like and changing what the muscle was doing in all of your arteries when patients present and have high blood pressure the first line of treatment is to use medications that slow down their heart rate and relax their blood vessels because lowering the blood pressure is most important when it comes to my own health I want to outsmart the hormone to prevent this problem from ever being part of my medical history so how do I outsmart aldosterone that salt hormone I use a superior hormone insulin insulin is the biggest predictor for whether or not your El elderone is on the rise or not high levels of insulin equate to high levels of elderone which increases your blood pressure in fact I could guarantee that if you have high insulin your blood pressure is higher than it should be if you have a history of high blood pressure and you want to add back the salt the first step is lowering the blood sugar you must start with blood sugar before you can start adding salt back to your diet so don't go stopping your blood pressure medic immediately if you've had a history of high blood pressure which means you've had a history of high insulin you will tend to improve things and then might drift backwards keeping your blood pressure controlled is the job between you and your doctor and I would not take it lightly it will predict your health without manipulating these hormones it might seem impossible to control your blood pressure without medications it is possible but it is a slow and steady process if you've been under the influence of high insulin for years if you're trying to reverse problems there's nothing better than focusing on how to reverse those problems with your heart check out this next video to watch prevention of heart disease and know it's not about cholesterol

  1. I TRUST NO DOCTORS WHO HAVE NO PATIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN CURED

  2. Without salt the cell simply die , the sodium in the salt table is the problem this kind of salt really don’t have minerals ! The apple vinegar simply low the insulin resistance , the advocates have the same action as blood pressure medicine but this don’t give money , olive oil , beterrab, vitamin C important to the blood vessel’s elasticity as cologen formation , the urucun from Amazonia simply low the insulin resistance I ask how many people now this and how many people is interested in take this as a way of life .

The sugar simply damaged the blood vessel’s and this sensor in the vessels is active the body send to this vessel the cholesterol as a guy to work simply protect this area , the result the cholesterol is the bad guy ! No it’s not the bad guy is the sugar in the food , the sugar in the coffee the sugar in the meat the industry to mask the sugar they put salt and we eat and say well there’s no sugar ?! Yes they have sugar at high levels but the salt is more sensitive to the mouth.

All the table vitamins as a reference are wrong , as in the beginning of this century the industry make a reference table to people get sick , the vitamin C the minimum 4 g what this table say 500 mg , vitamin D minimum 5000 IU as differs from person to person , the industry 1000 IU , magnesium as 300 quimical reactions depend from it , no no we don’t need magnesium … that bullshit !

To the cardiovascular system as the heart is a muscle and coenzyme Q10 is the first to treat the muscle is this coenzyme is going down after the 40 what we have at 55 if we don’t take it .. a bad heart function and ventricular disease .

I think that this halopatic medicine is going to the wrong way to a symptom a pill !
There’s only two options , we have people in this area without now how or they have now how only to treat themselves!

  3. That's BS. They keep moving the goal post. Used to be 140 was normal. They change it to sell more meds. Dr. Gupta says it's not one size fits all and it also depends on your age. It's not about salt. It's salt to potassium ratio. Insulin resistance is the culprit as well.

  4. If obsessed on it it'll mess you up……

  5. I've had high BP since 1994, that we know of…could have been before that; found out with my first pregnancy… fast forward 30 years…weight loss, and Keto made no difference… It is always high…am on meds… is also hereditary from my side of the family. I feel worse when it is lower and feel fine when it is a bit higher… Every person is different…these numbers are a general guideline..but not the absolute!

  6. I recently turned 52, have had great blood pressure up until about 1 year ago with random high levels of up to 137 in 2 office visits. Then it normalized. I went into surgically induced menopause 7 months ago, felt great! It's 5 months now and have been getting hot flashes and night sweats daily. Went to my doctor with flu symptoms and swollen glands. He did a routine BP test, it is at 160 but the 2nd number I can't remember. I am not overweight. Read there is a link between menopause and high BP and I am thinking the hot flashes and night sweats are related to the high BP vs actual menopause. Any advice?

  7. What is it suppose to be by age?

  8. I eat "seltin" each day seltin have 50% less salt than table salt and i have seltin on my egg's and other food like steaks and so on and it is no problem with the blood preasure at all! If i don't have seltin on my food then i don't eat it is not good at all so for me seltin is a must for me to eat my food!

  9. Could I get an email to contact you regarding my mum? I’m based in the UK.)

  10. Walking, Potassium and other trace minerals, Yoga and Pranayam, water intake, no sugar no junk no Processed Food .. Socially active significantly decreased my reading within 2 weeks. Also i feel motivated now and less anxiety .. I try not to get angry or learn to get calm quickly as doctor suggested me to train myself .. Anger attack can really raise the BP for a significant time

  11. Bottom number is more important, pressure the blood exerts against the arterial walls when the heart is at "rest" should be right around 80 , if it's higher not good, that means you have constant pressure the blood against the arterial walls exerting force can eventually lead to hemamorage, or stroke . Top number can be higher like say 120 to 150 that is not bad means heart contraction is strong which forces blood hard against the inner walls of the arteries . Just google [natural remedies foods Herbs] for high blood P treat yourself Dr's and medications are not good See Mark 5 : 26 [Niv] bible . Numbers greatly matter do not listen when told numbers don't matter . Also "dark" chocolate is tremendous relaxes arteries by like 40% which lets blood flow more freely without pressure against inner walls of arteries .

  12. How to lower insulin?

  13. OK but they not telling not to eat table salt dangerous n mercury gotta be organic mercury free salt Salt is mineral we need it not table salt bad for HBP she not telling whole truth So can't trust this video either lies

  14. I have no idea what this dr is suggesting, and looking at the comments, neither do any of you. I never heard what to do. And everyone in the comments is talking about what they do which is more helpful than whatever the Dr was saying.

  15. Not in my life time, my BP has been high forever, meds? OMG tons, side effects, please, theres a list. Here's a question, maybe our BP and all the other metabolic issues are actually individual? Yes studies are studies. But as they always say, science is forward moving. Meds do kinda help, but with a low HR all ya do is wanna sleep. Anyway. I love your common sense but highly educated thoughts and opinions. Love your videos, and your tenacity. Much Love and Blessings to you and your family..❤🙏

  16. My father had high BP,lived til 96
My brother has high BP he is 75.
Stop worrying about it. Eat whole food cut sugar and starch.

  17. How come im not dead. 190/110
For 10+ years. Yes 190… Ive seen 210 before.
They say im about to die ..lol
Ya…. I feel great. No i dont take any meds.
What is my diet…. I never eat salt
    Never liked salt.
I eat candy all day and high carbs.
I think we are being lied to.
I dont wear glasses. I have 20-10 vision i can see the smallest letters on dot physical wall. I never out of breath. I never take naps. I dont feep tired. I never in my life had a headache…never.
I dont jave diabetes no health issues. No diabetes no fatty liver
Only thing I feel wrong with my body is when I eat candy or carbs I get drowsy but it only lasts for 1 hours then it wears off and all day I feel fine. Not over weight.. lots of muscles I don't get dizzy at all. Just little slight fatigue once eating big meal or candy just slight fatigue but that's normal for anyone. And I never sleep it off. Also….. When I sleep I never wake up early or late. I sleep 8-10 hours a day. So…. Only thing I think is my pressure is high cause of sugar or body mass. Also I never have issue getting erection. Never

  18. I have been keto for 7.5 years, and I still have high blood pressure. 190/130 high. I avoid seed oils and all the bad stuff. I don't have cheat days or make keto treats. I make my keto foods, and I'm leaning more toward carnivore now. When I try to get extra salt in besides food (salting water, pinch on the tongue, etc) all it does is make my upper stomach bloat outward and makes me feel so so fatigued. I take potassium citrate daily as well, 3,500 mg daily. I test ketones, and they are in my urine (I can't afford a CGM). Why am I the anomaly?

  19. tl;dw So… carnivore diet and ketosis?

  20. 40 year old lifetime endurance athlete … never been over 10% bodyfat… been 140lbs for decades… I run marathons, compete in Ironman competitions… recently won a bike race in Central Park NYC against much younger men… have always had high bp… 150/100… recently Ive begun to see specialists and and now on a bunch of meds, yet my bp doesn't seem to come down… when I increase the dosages I can get it into the 130s…. but im lost, when my BP is low and Im on these meds I don't feel like myself… just posting this out of desperation, I have no symptoms other than doctors terrifying me that I'm about to have a stroke

  21. So why do is there 9000 mg salt in saline they will use that if someone having a heRt attack
