Personally, I don't care about the "insights of modern science." I have faith (knowing) that energy healing, the power of the mind and spirit, to influence the body!
Well if Jesus learned from other “more advanced” healers in India and Tibet doesn’t look like those advanced healer were very congruent with their beliefs in reaching out to others. Sounds like they were just trying to be great. But the greatest One actually goes to the whole would to heal and set free. Jesus was not learning from those cultures he was teaching them influencing them and setting the road for what was about to shift.

It was very eye-opening to speak with my regular physician about meditation. I was extremely surprised to learn that he knew nothing about meditation at all. So at this point, touching on the subject of other ways of healing or energy healing would not be a conceivable concept to him. I would think all doctors/ practitioners would touch on these aspects in medical school or at least have knowledge as to all the benefits of meditation. I was most def wrong in thinking this. It showed me very quickly how the power of a $1 dominates contemporary ways of medical care. He called it " self therapy". Which to me was correct in the aspect of not looking for outside resources to fix everything in your life.
