The Simplest Anti-Inflammatory Detox Plan | Post Travel Body Reset (my trip to Morocco!)



Avoid harsh anti-inflammatory diet plans or strict detox plans that make you dread going on another one. I wanted to share how I plan my cleanses to help reduce inflammation and reset my body following trips or whenever I need to.
The most important thing I change is switch to eating very clean. And that means, I stop eating processed foods or eating out. I make most of my meals and only use whole foods. This simple change alone makes me feel re-energized and better.

▶️ Easy Inflammatory Detox Plan Guidelines:
1. I focus on vegetable juices. You can make your own juice or buy it from a juice store. Make sure to read the ingredients to ensure no sugar has been added and most of the ingredients are organic (if possible) vegetables. If there is a piece of fruit, ensure it's low glycemic, like apples. Juice should be cold pressed and specific for cleansing.

2. Add broth, soups, and stews that are homemade and low in starches.

For the stews, make sure to use organic ingredients for the duration of the detox and to cook everything extra, so it's easy to digest.

3. Supplements can be good but we still don't want to overload the body with too many. I simply stick to turmeric and probiotics (choose the ones that work for you best).

4. If you'd like to consume salads, make sure you choose ingredients that are low in oxalates for the duration of the detox. Choose easy-to-digest soft cheese, and cook veggies to make them easy to digest. Best ingredients for salads are cabbage, avocado, sweet potatoes, egg, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower. And make your own dressing with olive oil as a base.

Opt for nut flour (almond flower) or coconut flour if you want to bake anything during the cleanse. Use raw honey to sweeten.

The duration of the anti-inflammatory detox doesn't have to be very long. I usually go for 1 week which is my sweet spot.

after being away for a few weeks traveling I 
decided to do a gentle cleanse to help my body reset and to also help reduce inflammation and 
I wanted to share with you a very simple way to do it a detox doesn't have to be harsh especially 
after traveling and already stressing your body a lot with long hours of travel eating things that 
you normally wouldn't eat I find that going on a very strict detox can be even more stressful on 
the nervous system so I wanted to share with you a very gentle detox that I'm doing I'm also 
doing this detox this time without cutting a lot of foods or doing long long hours of fasting 
so this is a very simple plan that consists of vegetable juices broth and a few supplements 
and I'm also going to be having very easy to digest homemade Whole Foods and these are things 
like stews and soups I'm still going to be doing my morning cup of cacao because I think Cacao is 
very healthy when we're choosing the right type of cacao as I shared in one of my recent videos 
so this is ceremonial grade cacao and it's very nutritious but I'm going to keep things very 
light for the rest of the day I got a bunch of vegetable juices that are great for reducing 
inflammation and boosting the immune system juicing can be great if you stick to low 
sugar ingredients the vegetable juices that I specifically pick have no added sugar and are 
usually only sweetened with low glycemic fruits I make sure to only get these specific juices I 
really with the ingredients and the reason why I'm buying these juices is because I don't 
have a juicer anymore and of course make sure that I always make sure that the juices 
that I get or make contain lemons Ginger uh just plenty of anti-inflammatory ingredients 
in general and again just more vegetables so my supplements won't change I'm still taking 
turmeric which is my favorite anti-inflammatory supplement and I have taken this supplement 
throughout my whole travels after a very long trip and eating out more than usual I have been 
eager to cook more again and whenever I'm doing a detox I always make more stews and soups as I 
mentioned before and I add bone broth which is rich in collagen and really good for the digestive 
system so if you have arthritis or inflammation you know if you swell during your travel I would 
highly recommend that you you consume broth um either while you're traveling if you can 
have access to it or after that and of course if you're vegetarian you can just have vegetable 
broth so my trip was very long as I flew from the west coast to the east coast of Canada and then 
I flew all the way to Morocco so you can imagine how long that was doing a gentle detox is very 
beneficial because it can really help your body reset and help you also feel more energized 
I also hope that you find this simple detox routine helpful especially if you want to do a 
detox but you feel overwhelmed by what to do it really doesn't have to be very complicated you 
just it's really clean and introduce a lot of anti-inflammatory foods into your diet more 
than what you usually do try to keep things very light it's easy on your digestive system
