👉How To Calm Anxiety Wherever You Are | #shorts
Square breathing is a really simple way to focus your mind as you slow your breathing down.
Focus your gaze on anything nearby, a window, door, picture frame. Just use it to trace your eyes around the shape as you count a 4 second intake of breath, hold it for 4 seconds and then breathe out for 4 seconds.
Keep breathing in this way and tracing your eyeline around the shape to help you focus. You can do this anywhere, any time and nobody even needs to know you’re doing it.
It can take a few minutes to calm the body but it can stop anxiety from escalating. Why not give it a try 😊

Thank you
That stresses me more that it does help😢
Thank you 🙂 I always incorporate this breathing exercise in my yogatherapy flows. I find that alternative nostril breathing also has a calming & balancing effect.
You are body, mind, and spirit… you have to take care of your body by making sure you are in constant movement, surrounded by life, not toxins, and get rid of everything artificial. You have to take care of your mind by being careful what you put through your eyes as well as your ears and all of your body, and you have to make sure your spirit is whole. That’s what I share in my description
Tq dear Dr. julie .
I was actally scared becuse I heard men outside talking about breaking in while am home alone. This really calmed me down thanks
Thank you it stopped me from ripping myself apart
Wow 🤯 it helped
What really helped me was realizing that anxiety isn’t an enemy—it’s a signal. Once I stopped trying to ‘eliminate’ it and instead learned ways to respond differently, things began to change. Simple practices can make a big difference.❤
Thanks this helps me when my mom left to spend overnight at her friend's house when I never knew about it and I was scared and I was crying thank you for helping me you were really nice and kind-hearted
I'm grateful for my ability to release tension & stress through regular deep relaxation.
