Sometimes we can’t needle the area of pain, because the patient is too uncomfortable to lay down prone, or she’s pregnant. 🤰🏽

Using mirroring microsystem like the balance method of Dr. Richard Tan or Master Tung’s point charts, is very beneficial in clinical practice.

Years ago, I strained my (left) sacroiliac joint, and couldn’t see my colleague for a couple of days, so I needled the tender area below my elbow crease on the opposite (right) side of the pain.

The relief was almost 50% better and the next day, I needled it again and boom 💥 90% better!

I also put ear seeds in my triangular fossa and pressed them a few times a day!
