disclaimer in no way shape or form does the information of this video replace medical advice this video's purpose is to shed light on cbd and how it could be used to treat anxiety amongst many other remedies and medications out there is school stressing you out your job giving you anxiety or can you just not fall asleep at night well this just may be the video for you the use of cbd could be an effective and safe way to alleviate anxiety stress and improve your sleep but what exactly is cbd cbd is short for cannabidiol which is one of two compounds found in cannabis the other one being tetrahydrocannabine or thc for short what you may notice is that the chemical formulas of cbd and thc are almost chemically identical but they both elicit different reactions within the body the chemical structure of thc that is found in marijuana is what gives you the feeling of being high while the chemical structure of cbd which is also found in marijuana doesn't give you the feeling of being high but affects the body in different less noticeable ways cbd is known to elicit relaxing and soothing effects without the feeling of intoxication that is usually associated with marijuana marijuana and hemp are two types of cannabis plants marijuana contains a high concentration of thc with some cbd this contrasts kemp as hemp is bred to remove the majority of its thc content leaving the plant as only a good source of cbd this means you cannot get high off hemp derived cbd oils but how do we know that cbd is effective in treating anxiety one study outlined an experiment done on 65 men and women that were classified to be obese majority of the participants were in their 20s to 40s in this double-blind experiment some participants were given hemp-derived cbd oil or an olive oil placebo daily for six weeks alongside their normal diet throughout the six weeks the participants were asked about their feelings of stress as well as other factors including their overall well-being anxiety levels and sleep quality participants were also asked to complete physical activity on a regular basis the study found that overall participants who were given hemp-derived cbd were coping better with stress experiencing improved sleep quality and quantity and showed improved pleasure in life amongst many other benefits so how have people been using cbd cbd oils and creams are currently being used topically to reduce pain and inflammation teas coffee blends and even cbd infused beer help with anxiety relieve stress and help with sleep cbd has also been used to help with withdrawal symptoms panic attacks insomnia depression as well as ptsd although there is little to no side effects of cbd use as well as no proven tendencies for abuse or dependence potential cbd is still relatively new on the market cbd studies are still in the preliminary stages as long-term effects are still unknown so please before trying anything new we recommend you speak to your family doctor and inquire about cbd and find what works best for you if you are interested in learning more about the use of cbd research currently being done or the science behind it please refer to the links in the description of this video [Music] you

  7. I have a question… it's understandable that you smoke cbd and you are better at being calm, talking to people, etc… however I wonder if it helps long term. Will my social anxiety drop if I start socializing when on cbd for a while and than quit smoking it? Will it permanently help me?

  12. I love CBD and the oil the gummies and edibles and smoke and use it a lot and it’s great for my Severe Traumatic Brain Injury and Depression and Anxiety

  16. I take it for anxiety but also I’ve had the flu the past few days. While I’d never smoke anything, I did take a full spectrum tincture and that relieved the aches from the flu as well as my inflamed sinuses and I slept like a baby! I threw out all our OTC pain killers and “sleeping” pills, that are really just old antihistamine drugs from the 1940s that the FDA allows companies to peddle as sleep aids. Disgusting. Taking diphenhydramine to sleep is like using a flame thrower to light a candle. Not very efficient and there might be some collateral damage lol.

  19. Here is my story about CBD so far.
    Before the pandemic I was very outgoing, you know, one of those people who appears to be way too happy to be alive. Taking on any opportunity humanly possible. Always a team player, never afraid to go out and experience life and it’s Amenities. Then the pandemic happened. We were all told to stay home for six months to a year. I stayed home, it was weird. Because I am a stand-up comedy performer. Being on stage was something I loved for. After the pandemic was done. I started going out again, but was having very bad anxiety attacks. Heart racing, hands sweating. I tried to stop drinking coffee. It has helped. Then I started medicating with marijuana. I learned about using half THC and half CBD mixes. Then as time went on I moved to Straight CBD. Now I am excited to go out again, I am not afraid to go into a very packed Walmart anymore. I can listen to people and get real concentrated. I don’t know if it’s a placebo effect. But I love placebo effects anyway. It works for me. My life has been amazing. I recommend you do your research and try CBD for yourself. PS if your family suffers from Alzheimer’s, I recommend you talk to your doctor first. As marijuana has been known to activate those whose family history include Alzheimer’s.   24. Does anyone take CBD whilst taking anti depressants? I’m eager to try CBD after hearing all the great things about it, however I take 200mg of sertraline every night and I am concerned about the combination of both. Anyone got any advice?

  25. I have a back injury that led up to a fall down the stairs, which caused my kneen and feet injuries. It's painful to move and sometimes I can't sleep. Physical therapy was not helpful. I also have anxiety, IBS, panic attacks, depression, insomnia, hot flashes and PTSD. I started taking THC edibles and CBD a few weeks ago and I feel an improvement overall with all of the above. The CBD also helps me to focus better on what I am doing instead of getting distracted.

    in other words… its good and natural, so they rather you be addicted to prescription pain meds.

  27. I have raging anxiety from chronic chest pain after a Sternum break 7 months ago. Talking to a doctor tomorrow who can get CBD and work it in as I remover the anxiety meds,. That never worked anyway

  30. My first panic attack was at a wine bar with my brother at 1 a.m.
    I blamed it on being too drunk; but the next day after sobering up; I had another attack like mid afternoon. I was crying and shaking just in the middle of having a good day getting in line to order food.
    I tried getting myself into magnesium glycinate, which helped, but not all the time… then I tried delta 8 vapes and that didn’t help.
    So then I tried 5 htp which helped but made me tired. I felt like I was losing hope. So I then went back to the same cbd/nutrition shop to go for cbd. It was right next to the delta 8 I got last time.
    Had the pen already, connected it and took 3 hits. It took maybe 15-20 min and I felt so calm.
    Not sleepy, but really calm that the traffic on the highway didn’t bother me like it would. I was just jamming to a song in my car, head all the way on the headrest, just calmingly going through traffic without any worries. I love CBD. I really was scared to get it tho tbh. Like it took me months to decide to get cbd… I really thought I was going to eat myself in my mind alive everyday and suffer til cbd.

I recently started having crippling depression, anxiety(ex-soldier weight, not missed an appointment weight anxiety) and MS like symptoms(waiting for another relapse for diag.) and I picked up some 1500mg broad spectrum CBD drops. I bought it on a whim after failed prescriptions. I put two dropper fulls under my tongue and held it there for a while. For the first time in months, I feel at peace. Although nothing changed in the overall scheme of things, I was able to feel pleasurable and at peace. I cant express at all what that means to me. Might or might not work forever, but for now its life changing.

  38. I smoked CBD joint one time and immediately quick smoking green. Me and my buddy both quit immediately. My buddy started spending 75 dollars a week on 2 vape pens. He smoked 1 pen a week. One week I was going through some shit.and was incredibly down and didn't have nothing so I tried my buddy's CBD Vape and immediately fell even more in love with it. The next week I went 50 50 on a pack and got one for myself and ever since that moment my life has never been the same. I have a new found peace I never ever had before. The ability to vape CBD anywhere and even at work is a game changer. I love CBD. Totally improved my life.

    Edit: My favorite brand is Suger Extract Delta 8 delta 10 THC-O mixed together.
