The oncologist being against universal health care is jaw-dropping
I was hoping they would dig into the topics a bit more. It felt very surface level and like they were afraid to say what they really think. Hope they do another round of this topic some time.
The fact that 90% of holistic and 100% of medical doctors don't want Universal Healthcare is why we don't trust ANY of them! That was the biggest statement they made.

When was the last time you went to a doctor and walked out better? Does that happen in your world because it almost never happens in mine. I go to the doctor and get to make more appointments for other doctors and tests. I get to go pickup and take a prescription. I get to go round and round with that until insurance says naw and I get a letter. I have wasted time money and energy and I still have the condition I went in for. I am getting better by actually staying home and resting instead of participating in this nonsense.

If holistic medicine didn’t work the Mayo Clinic wouldn’t advocate or support it which they do. The focus should be on preventative care and health and when possible integrated medicine. Healthy eating healthy foods, health food industry. Let’s not ignore all the contributing factors and how each generation has gotten worse. We get sicker earlier in life due to those factors.
Someone said "I’m not going to call a ‘holistic healer’ instead of 911 in a medical emergency. That’s true, but holistic health is the art of not getting into that situation in the first place.

Our Age expectancy is like mid 70s now…. How much of that can be attributed to alternative medicine? Very little I suspect
