namaskar life was very different 30 to 40 years ago the experience is where different as well but today I feel many of us miss those subtle beautiful experiences that the 1980s offered people have forgotten some basic of living basic that enrich our life with Beauty in today's fastpaced world life is moving quick and we are missing the beauty of living today let's talk about five different aspects of life in 8s that brought happiness and are missing in today's Lifestyle the first thing was social interaction in the 80s social interactions were less about appearance and more about genuine connection people visited each other's home without needing any occasion simply to catch up and enjoy each other's company festivals were a time of gathering not just for immediate family but for Neighbors as well as friends today we may live next door to someone for years without exchanging any meaningful words or even a small smile we have become so busy that a beauty of person to person connection has started to fail but remember real connection is such a powerful thing it nurtures us it supports us and it makes us feel seen and valued so let's try to bring these things back from 80s by simply meeting an old friend and talking for some time or talking to a neighbor the second amazing thing about 0 was family connection family too had a special place in our life back in ‘ 80s families shared more than just a home they shared time meals laughter and stories whether it was sitting down to eat together or watching television as a family these little movements strengthen our bonds today families are often scattered each member is busy in their own world caught up in personal schedules gadgets and digital distractions you don't even realize who is in the house and who is not you don't know what is really happening in each other's life then you say life is full of loneliness spend time with your family connect with them do little little things for them that make them happy life will become so much better and happier for you the third important thing in 8s was time for yourself in those days there was no pressure to be constant stly connected or to portray a certain image people could just be who they are there was space for quiet time time for oneself to reflect to pursue simple Hobbies or to do absolutely nothing at all today you all feel the need to be on all the time to keep up with the latest trends to show the world that we are productive happy and stylish all the time but in doing so we have lost touch with our own self taking a little time each day just for yourself this form of self-care is a beautiful practice that reminds you of who you are beneath all the busy next comes better sleep in 80s people followed natural sleep Rhythm they woke up with sunrise and after the day well spent they slept deeply today our sleep is often interrupted we are always burdened by late night work screens and anxiety that carries over the throughout night good sleep is one of the best gift we can give ourselves prioritize it keep gadgets away from your bedroom and honor the night the time for real rest finally comes minimalism in in the 80s people lived a life of conscious Simplicity they did not need too many things to make them happy they used items for years and valued them greatly there wasn't any need to replace things with the latest models instead the things we had were taken care of and cherished and passed down such constant Simplicity kept Life Light today we often feel the need for more of everything but more thing can lead to more clutter both outside and within remember these five qualities of life from the 80s they can change your life and your experiences don't miss out on the beauty of Life by running after things value your life you have so much to experience every day so let's not forget get the basics namaskar

Yes your correct mam
Great video !
Very true ma'am we never had Internet, social media, so much competition life was very good with lots of get together and social interaction. Thank you for this wonderful video
If you are fortunate, to live or atleast interact with your grandparents, you are really blessed!😊
Nobody can be better example for you , to understand the meaning of leading a simple life , to be content with what you have, and still live joyfully.
Some human values ,you will understand only when you experience it . 🙏
With due respect to Hansaji, I bet her lifestyle isn't the same as her grandparents' / parents' was decades ago. Human society is dynamic and practices change over time as per prevailing circumstances. Hence, while some of her advise is well-taken, one must appreciate the challenges contemporary societal changes impose on us. After all we don't live on an isolated island.
Thank you ma'am for such a good video

The constant and never ending urge of being DIGITALLY CONNECTED and comparing oneself with others laced with the never ending thirst for monetary and materialistic benefits has driven scores of people into PERENNIAL MADNESS..
I want to go back – it’s my goal. Land line, no WiFi in my house, no “Smart(spying)” anything. I watch dvds of old tv shows where people are more connected to small communities outside of their homes and it seems more human. It needs to be brought back so an entire generation doesn’t lose the reality of what a real society feels like. I watched a comparison video of crowds walking in NY city from the 70’s vs now. In the 70’s people were looking up, making eye contact with strangers, smiling and being inquisitive. I think the tide is turning- people are going back to the info at senate hearings on 5g and listening to experts like Dr Sharon Goldberg in the Michigan hearings that said “there is no debate – rf radiation causes cancer and diabetes” Rf radiation exposure is how they give lab mice diabetes to test drugs on them. Also, people are building houses here (California) that have copper mesh lining the inside of the walls to block WiFi. It’s fruitless though – 5g companies use the 850 hz to penatrate thru walls, concrete etc. You have to wonder why they using a military weapon ( 95mhz is military crowd control) to penatrate our homes without consent…I can shut everything off and turn off the power to my house but still measure the 850mhz in my house…something needs to be done… it causes cancer. I live out in a sparsely populated rural area. None of it makes sense from a business standpoint…..
each and every word of this 5 and half minute video is true to the core and a befitting soft slap on the faces of the so called MODERN DAY ANGLICIZED INDIANS who try to portray themselves as more WESTERN than the NATIVE WESTERN ones..
The 1980s was a time of big hair, MTV, and memorable pop culture that still resonates with people today. Some of the most defining aspects of 80s culture include slang words, famous quotes, advertising taglines, and nostalgic words😊
Beautiful very well said Hansa Maa Love your views on it completely ❤️🙏
Every word is so accurate..This generation is so messed up ❤❤
💜🙏👍
