what's up guys so the next thing i like to do is the infrared sauna um i hop in here i throw in some headphones kind of disconnect just kind of meditate a little bit it's really good for detoxification also good for your joints also good for your immune system stress relief [Music] infrared is heating up from the inside out so it doesn't need to be as hot in here as a normal dry sauna and you get a lot more of the benefits um so enjoy

Do you actually sweat ?

Good to know you dont need to put it that hot, i had mine at 165 and had to walk out a few times lol
Is it just me but do the old school saunas feel hotter than the infrared saunas?

It does not hit you from the inside out.
It uses infrared light waves to penetrate the skin to heat the tissues. Because it's infrared rather than conductive, it's able to heat the tissues faster and to reach deeper levels more quickly.
Wasn’t that big study in Finland done using only dry saunas? I don’t think there’s as much evidence on infrared yet. But I’m sure it’s almost as good.
The one I go to combines another heat source to get the heat up to 140-150 degrees. Makes me sweat a lot more 🥵
