In our society, growing food yourself has become the most radical of acts. It is truly the only effective protest, one that can-and will-overturn the corporate powers that be. By the process of directly working in harmony with nature, we do the one thing most essential to change the world-we change ourselves! -Jules Dervaes

Leah and I are two humans who no longer support the inhuman, oligarchic empire model destroying our planet and our true nature as human beings. As activists we decided to do something about it, so we opted out of our former lives to begin anew. We are currently transforming pristine alpine wilderness into a self-sustaining homestead and organic farm in preparation for the upcoming collapse. We plan on developing and executing every single step of the process in open source format for the benefit of all humanity. With our backgrounds in academia and the sciences (climatology, geology, physics, biology, chemistry, and more) we hope to uncover the lies perpetrated by the mass media. https://www.patreon.com/OppenheimerRanchProject

[Music] a japanese noun a visit to a forest for relaxation literally forest bathing now why haven't you ever heard of this i'm sure some of you have but the psychological effects of forest environments on healthy adults or shinrin yoku forest air bathing or walking as a possible method for stress reduction has been known for decades and as early as 2006 a comprehensive paper came out which you're looking and at claims that walking or staying in the forest to promote health is a major form of relaxation in japan however its effects have yet to be completely clarified but they've been clarified a decade later hundreds of papers have come out on forest bathing shinrin yoku here's one from 2017 nature therapy a state of the art review and what it concludes is nothing less than groundbreaking current literature supports shinrin yoku and that would be forest bathing if you don't know what that is you just simply have to walk into a forest the benefits of exposure to nature and green environments on human systems has been epically reported upon the mainstream media is not telling you however the aim of this state of the art review the one we just showed you here in the studies elucidate empirical research conducted in the physiological and psychological effects of forest bathing or shinrin yoku this was done in japan china and other regions furthermore the study aimed to encourage health care professionals to conduct longitudinal research into the western cultures regarding the clinical therapeutic effects of shinran yoku now can you imagine going to your doctor in the us and he's saying well all you need take none of these tablets and walk in the woods every day for the next six weeks no one is going to tell you that you know why because it's free and they're beholden to their pharmaceutical corporatocracy astarts to get you to buy their drugs they want you to buy their chemotherapy they want you to buy their heart therapy they want you to buy everything that's supported by mainstream pharmaceutical corporations they do not want you to go into nature and heal yourself breathe deeply four seconds in four seconds out for 10 minutes to get your heart into homeostasis and then actually begin to reveal the healing nature of nature why would any corporation want you to learn the truth they wouldn't but a thorough review was conducted to identify research published with an initial open date range narrowing the collective publications from 2007 to 2017 and as well as electronic databases in pubmed and other well-reviewed documentary journals and the snowball references were used to call papers that evaluated the use of shinrin yoku for various populations in diverse settings and the results are that from 127 papers initially called using the boolean phrase shinrin yoku and or forest bathing and or nature therapy 64 studies met the inclusions criteria and were included in the summary of review that means that over 50 percent of the papers scientifically relating to shinrin yoku were valid that's amazing that's way more than climate change by the way and what they found was that 64 studies concluded that the psychological physiological sensory metrics and framework subgroups human health benefits associated with the immersion in nature continue to be currently researched but longitudinal research conducted worldwide produced new evidence of the relationship associated with shinrin yoku and clinical therapeutic effects in other words simply walking in the forest can eliminate you from walking into the hospital period but they don't want to say that because that's bad for business new therapy as health promotion methods and promotional universal health models is implicated for the reduction of reported modern day stress state and techno stresses so what what all of these papers have concluded and i want to be clear i'm going to leave you links to all of the papers in the last two decades there's hundreds of pages do your own research but what they've concluded is that breathing unilaterally and what i mean by that is an increase in breath and decrease in breath inhale outhal at the same rate three seconds inhale three seconds out hell four seconds inhale four seconds out causes the human body to come into homeostasis so that's the first thing you need to do and that's called heart math so first before you begin your shinrin yoku we implore you all to begin heart math simply one to two minutes of breathing equally in as well as out in a metered fashion and then continue this during your shinrin yoku and your forest bath will be more healing than any pharmaceutical you could ever consume period for your heart for your health for your cancer for your wellness no matter what ailment you have the comparative study of the psychological and physiological effects of forest bathing is nothing less than stunning period do you shinran yoku are you worried about what i'm saying and the science come check the papers they're endless and they all prove one thing walking in the forest is a healing mechanism that we've lost almost 90 percent of the population spends 90 percent of the time indoors that's disgusting an ever telling on why we're still sick i hope you got something out of the video proper prior planning prevents piss-poor performance while you are denied the knowledge of the peer-reviewed silence science on forest bathing and nature therapy whatever you want to call it but our channel is called shinrin yoku for a reason because that is the modality of your healing forest relaxation literally forest bathing equals health and wealth in the future learn the science learn the facts end the dogma and please please take a walk in the forest why well you'll thank me afterwards trust me the fighting sides emitted by these ancient trees prevent bacterial growth and fungi from permeating the forest that's why it's perfect permaculture principles are at the highest end in the forest without them nothing would happen that's why we say that permaculture is the solution to every problem proper prior planning prevents poor performance while you walk through the woods notice what's happening replicate it in your forest garden at your home and be safe we love you and that's a shinrin yoku boom it's amazing

  1. Allopathy etymology.
    Allos; other or different.
    Pathos; suffering.
    Need I say more?

  2. The forest is the most priceless gift to mankind. No need to see a shrink for one's mental well-being.

  3. I walk in my forest everyday just out my front door. ❤️👍🇨🇦🌈

  4. Love you David❤️👍🇨🇦🌈

  5. Honestly bubba what they call healing people in the forest is basically just bringing people back to the way people used to be…its healing people because there city and urban inviornments have taken that state of being away from them…nature is just bringing them back to a more natural state of being …

  6. Even the trees look all twisted and ancient in alot of the forests in japan

  7. Forests in japan must be totally awsome maby.some of the.most calming in the worls…all that green ..all those ferns …sagos…i have meny plants that grow on japan planted throughout my forest…

  8. Diamond, this is great! Thank you. Here's a link you all might want to check out. https://youtu.be/cRW0XO2xWn4

  9. Wuts up Diamond!!! Diamond sent me lol

  10. Have looked at Japanese culture and history. So much has changed since the white western world "invaded" their isolated island in 1852. They didn't want our culture, mass industrialized, corporate society ways poisoning their way of life. Look back then forward to today. Like every thing we do, brought to another culture…. we always seem to "f" it up don't we?🕵🤔😳🙏😇🖖✌😍😘🦅🦅

  11. Wow, i love forest…thank you for the great information, keep on sharing!

  12. Why did i think 🤔 it involved soap and fog lol 😂 😂😂😂

  13. Well, Diamond, this explains why my favorite place as a child was "the woods." I was told by my mother that my dad was my best friend. But he was apparently bipolar I, had a breakdown, and walked out the door, never to be seen again when I was 4. I often retreated into the woods. When we bought our first place, 7.44 acres outside of a small town in Arkansas, it was "in the woods." Arkansas has trees everywhere up here in the Ozark hills. I can fully agree that the forest is a very calming place.

  14. I walked down a horse trail at the forest. I saw three horses before I got there and later I saw three other people riding horses on a trail. Thank you Diamond.

  15. Always enjoyed walking in the woods. Camping in forest is so peaceful. Love walking the wild rice camp forest road in the fall. Nature at its best.

  16. Few forests are ancient. Most have been harvested and managed by human intervention. Some for thousands of years. The American west is one of the few places where enclaves of original flora still exist. Seek those out. Eastern woodlands can grow from a plowed field to a mature poplar, oak, and ash forest in one human lifetime.

  17. Creation is the first Gospel. I am tired of the sterile world of suburbia-IMHO HOA's are un-American and I plan to eat from my garden (front and back lawn). I lived half hour from Boston and it was rural and beautiful. Now suburban Cincinnati and it's sterile.

  18. This is why I have planted over 90 trees on my property which is roughly 2500 sq ft
