After six years of living in the mountains, I have discovered a deep sense of comfort and peace that nature provides, which I never experienced while surrounded by the bustling noise of the cities. I became healthier, not just physically but also mentally, as I embraced all the gifts that nature provides.

Healing from the forest is rooted in the deep connection humans have with nature. Forest bathing is a simplicity of being present in nature and allowing the body and mind to reset and heal naturally.

Living in a peaceful, calm environment surrounded by
serene nature has changed my life After six years of living in the mountains, I have discovered
a deep sense of comfort and peace that nature provides, which I never experienced while surrounded
by the bustling noise of the cities I became healthier, not just physically but also mentally,
as I embraced all the gifts that nature provides My brother and I believe nature is the greatest healer Forest bathing, referred to as “Sanlimyok” in Korean, is also commonly known as “Shinrin-yoku” in Japanese In Korea, there are cases where diseases that cannot
be treated in hospitals are cured in the mountains Similarly, in Japan, doctors write prescriptions
for patients to visit forests for forest bathing In this fast-paced society, we frequently
face emotional pain and suffering from various hardships We often overuse our brains with logic,
decision-making, and stress management while being overwhelmed by information
and noise from electronic devices That is why many people rely on medication, therapy,
or substances like alcohol and drugs for relief Forest bathing is a healing remedy
with various benefits for our health and mind Our body and brain have developed
in nature over thousands of years That is why we feel at home
when we are surrounded by nature It is also shown in scientific research that our brains
react differently when we are in nature Healing from the forest is rooted in the
deep connection humans have with nature Forest bathing is a simplicity of being present in nature and allowing the body and mind to reset and heal naturally The peaceful atmosphere of the forest
can melt away stress and lift your spirits The soothing sounds of nature
lowers cortisol levels and foster relaxation Research shows that spending time in forests
can be a healing remedy, helping to ease anxiety and depression Being in the forest awakens the senses.
The vibrant greens refresh the eyes allowing you to relieve eye fatigue The scent of the forest stimulates
a person's sense of smell and clears the mood The bumpy forest path engages the sense of touch and the calming sounds of nature
soothe nerves agitated by city noise Phytoncides are chemicals released
by trees that enhance our health These substances can lower blood pressure and heart rate improving cardiovascular health
and circulation and reducing inflammation Furthermore, they strengthen our immune system
by increasing the natural killer cells which help combat cancer and viruses Connecting with nature
has the power to heal our emotional state Research reveals that cultivating a deeper relationship
with nature allows us to release tension and find peace and balance within ourselves Forest bathing not only revitalizes the mind
but also enhances attention span and cognitive function by alleviating mental fatigue Embracing nature has the power to elevate focus,
spark creativity, and sharpen problem-solving skills Forests offer a source of natural light and a soothing atmosphere that can regulate circadian rhythms paving the way for better sleep When stress melts away and mental clarity emerges, we unlock the potential for deeper, more restorative rest When you find yourself in the forest,
try to open yourself fully to nature and walk slowly to absorb the surroundings Focus on each sense in your body,
including sound, sight, and touch, allowing yourself to be in the presence of nature This focus will lead you to a profound
interaction with nature

    Lately l had snails in my flower pots eating at night the leaves of my flowers. I did not like it, so l looked up, what snails eat, and made them every night a food feast. Now, my 🌺pots are fine. Greetings from Australia
