it starts with just a few scribbles on paper something that was once a way to record significant moments is now often used to help thoughts escape our heads it's almost like magic the way that it works except it's not magic it's actual science and that's why journaling is highly recommended by psychologists across the u.s like our own dr max wachtel there's a process that our brains go through when we are stressed out or sad or depressed it's called rumination we basically just chew on our thoughts we spin on them over and over and over and over journaling allows people to write those thoughts down kind of replicating a conversation with someone else our brains don't really know that we aren't speaking to somebody else because it's it's really like talking about it and working through something or getting a song out of your head that is what helps your brain move on to to other more productive things and the best part there is no right way to do it write in full sentences if your heart desires or bullet points if you're short on time other than not doing it there is no way that you can screw up journaling experts say journaling not only helps things escape your mind but allows you to retain information longer if you wish by boosting your memory it can also help you get organized so you can set and achieve new goals with this quick helpful exercise i'm jordan chavez telling you to take care i love journaling i definitely find it beneficial for sure dr mack says there's no specific amount of time a person has to journal for those effects to start working and it doesn't matter how often either just as long as you do it

I've found that journaling helps me organize my thoughts and identify recurring patterns in my emotions, leading to better self-awareness. It's like having a conversation with yourself, but on paper, and the insights can be profound.
Journaling has been a surprisingly helpful tool for processing my thoughts and reducing anxiety; I encourage anyone struggling to give it a try. It’s amazing how putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard!) can unlock clarity. Thanks for sharing these benefits!
Informative.
Thank you very much.
Very instructive
For my roller-coaster education adventure, I didn't really understand anything or journaling, not until college timeframe. In most cases, I think God challenged me with my education and sadly within a workplace and it shows from a crisis of everything so therefore I'm repeating education but in a homeschooling way and whenever I want without professors or anything. As for Journaling, I figured stuff out from looking back on my journal college essays and so I continued on. Paperwise, for sure not becuz my small hands would get tired and if I lived without a computer, type writer, or any kind of phone. So far writing a journal within my thoughts help but the sad part is I'll never know how to say things professional in an apologetic way in a face 2 face interaction. In a situational tragedy way, it's hard to have an appropriate conversation perhaps with a high school ghetto thug/adults in 30s or a granny who has trouble gaining an educational thought that has been missing out for 50 years with a lack of resources and sadly inclined to the 1950 generation. So there's ups and downs just life is hard overall
Interesting.
Thank you so much.
It’s kinda crazy cause I tend to think about so many things when I’m not on the spot. I have so much to say when it comes to journaling, but have a hard time expressing those thoughts out loud to someone. I don’t know what it is, but my brain almost shuts down when I try to explain things to someone.
Thank you very much so much for this video. Very interesting.
