  1. Thats so true plus running and swmming or Yoga stretching and Pilates 😊❤

  2. What is the mat you are skipping on?

  3. I must know what this background song is! I love the rhythm, but shazam cant find it

  4. Mindfulness and stress management play a crucial role in longevity. Chronic stress can have detrimental effects on health, so finding ways to relax and unwind is key to a longer life.

  5. 100% agree on doing body-weight moving exercises over lifting weights. But your "strength to weight" ratio likely also applies to lifting weights.

  6. Im only 25 but I have already been believing in this "philosophy" as I'd like to call it. I'm 5 foot 11 185lbs lean and got here exclusively through bodyweight calisthenics for 8 years. Not a single day at the gym. I feel great knowing I can continue feeling this good as I get older and not having to degrade instead if I had done weightlifting to maximize size.

Most people don't understand that being heavier than what your body can naturally pack on when doing bodyweight work poses a risk to your organs and joins. Bodyweight workouts are all that you need because single-limb variations can be used to increase "weight" if you want to get stronger.

  7. Should you do it every day or will every second day also work?

  8. Strengthening ur legs (base), lightening ur upper body

  9. dont care, me lift big weight

  10. Hey Al, nice info. you are one of my fitness inspiration. calisthenics build as much muscle mass as same as weight training. I am a calisthenics bodybuilder. I mix my training with calisthenics and overcoming isometrics. So, that's why I am building muscle without hitting any plateaus.Guys, you don't need a gym memberships to build a dream body. No f***ing excuses. calisthenics + overcoming isometrics = gains💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥

  11. Love that you're still motivating Al❤❤

  12. Calisthenics is the most functional of any other form of strength training such as free-weights, and machine weights

  13. Don't share your thought about weight- lifting making you stronger than Calisthenics.
Weight- lifting just puts muscle mass on you with its corresponding share of fat.
More muscle mass doesn't always correlate to more strength unless you learn how to tap into it.
    Examples abound.
Calisthenics should be required from the earliest youth up until the last few steps of our earthly journey.

  14. I appreciate your videos AL. Common sense and lots of good info.

  15. Hey, Al. Just got your mobility man (no, I’m not 40 in my 30s) and I gotta say it has been doing my body some good. I’ve been doing it everyday and my body feels so good.

As far as doing skin the cat, do you have any recommendations for building up to it? I can only hold the position for maybe 15 seconds, after that I put my feet on a platform still letting my shoulders and arms handle most of my weight for the rest of the time. I’ve been feeling it help my shoulders a lot this way, but I was wondering if maybe I should build up with something else first or keep doing What I’m doing?

  16. True that … look at all the best weight lifters past their prime ,most have severe pain and discomfort/disfunction unfortunately…
