  11. I agree that your advice will work temporarily ,but none of those suggestions is going to change the things in a person's life which has caused the depression in the first place. I can apply CBT to a thought process but I can't change how people behave or try to use me. Unless I just cut off my time with them and become a hermit.

    People today are depressed and anxious mostly because they dont do anything except watch tv all day.

    They have no effect on MDD!
