hi fam and welcome to another video the other day i asked you guys on instagram what prevented you from losing weight and the answers were bad eating habits cravings for junk food no time you're not consistent today we're going back to basics we're going to be making five delicious smoothies that are going to help you lose weight these smoothies are quick and easy to make they will satiate you they're delicious they're rich in fiber they'll help your digestion your metabolism you'll have more energy each one of them contain specific ingredients that i chose strategically to help you lose weight and before we start the recipes i want to announce that we're having a challenge on my app simple fit app it's going to be a 30 day strong and slim challenge that will help you lose weight it's a plan that i basically designed for you you'll receive a calendar you'll receive daily workout routine videos that you will do with me you'll receive a meal plan that you will follow along with breakfast lunch dinner snacks it's going to be delicious i made this meal plan with a nutritionist so it's super healthy and all you have to do is download my app you can download it for free and right now we have a special where you'll get the first month for one dollar the first smoothie that we're gonna make will have a beautiful yellow color and the purpose of this smoothie is to reduce inflammation to detoxify and to reduce excess water retention the first ingredient is pineapple which contains an enzyme that is a natural diuretic another thing is that all fruit is very high in fiber content the next ingredient is mango i'm using frozen mango about half a cup and mango just like every other fruit is really high in fiber content and we want more fiber when we're trying to lose weight because it keeps our digestion flowing next ingredient is chia seeds chia seeds are also rich in fiber and plant-based protein and they also help absorb toxins from your digestive tract another thing is that they will help you keep you satiated the next ingredient is one teaspoon of turmeric powder which is amazing at reducing inflammation in our body and to blend i will be using one cup of coconut water coconut water is great at hydrating our bodies and whenever we're trying to lose weight or maintain weight or just be healthy it's very important to stay hydrated okay let's blend [Music] our smoothie is ready oh my gosh this was so good last ingredient very optional is cayenne powder just a little bit at the top [Music] i personally like how it tastes with a cayenne i love spicy gives it a nice kick and i love that the chia seeds give it like a very smooth and creamy consistency the next smoothie is for anyone who suffers from constipation all the ingredients in this movie will help you go to the bathroom improve your digestion you'll feel light you'll feel energized it will clean your colon and it will just be amazing so the first ingredient is papaya and papaya contains this enzyme called pain and this enzyme is the one that helps you go to the bathroom it loosens up your stomach it relaxes it inside and it helps you poop but in a good way it's not like a laxative like a pill that you take it's nature's good natural laxative [Music] the next ingredient is grapefruit and grapefruit just like all other citrus fruits uh they contain lots of vitamin c which will boost your immune system and they're also rich in folate which help keeps your body cells healthy and they're also rich in fiber the next ingredient is celery and i've said it before i'll say it again celery acts like a broom for your stomach it helps detoxify it helps clean out all the junk all the toxins that are in there you want that out and celery will help do that [Music] the next ingredient is one tablespoon of aloe vera and this is aloe vera it's like a gel like texture it's a plant i took the thing from inside and aloe vera is amazing amazing amazing to improve our digestion it's also anti-inflammatory and it helps keep our skin glowing looking natural and healthy the next ingredient is one tablespoon of almond butter and almonds are a great source of plant-based protein which will help you feel satiated they're also rich in vitamin b and magnesium which will give you more energy so that when you go work out you can do your best and burn more and create more muscle it will also give our smoothie a creamy consistency and we're going to blend finally with some water [Music] ready [Music] it is ready we have our mason jar [Music] this is so good i personally love the taste of grapefruit and it's actually not even that strong but if you don't really like grapefruit at all you can just put a fourth of a grapefruit or you can also sub it for orange juice it's full of delicious fiber i can feel it and it will help you relieve constipation cheers to poop okay the next will be a green smoothie and this one's gonna be for those people that are having belly bloating issues so if you feel bloated right now i highly recommend that you try this smoothie the first ingredient is banana and i love bananas and smoothies because they add a lot of creaminess with basically very few calories we're using banana the next ingredient is apple because of its unique fiber content it's different from other fruits it's a little bit more potent and they're also rich in water content which help hydrate our body [Music] the next ingredient is dates and i love dates to sweeten they're actually very sweet but it's a good sweet full of fiber iron magnesium good minerals that we want in our body next ingredient is greens you can use any greens you want i just have like these mixed greens that i'm gonna add in there you can use spinach or celery or whatever you have next ingredient is cucumber full of vitamin c and water content which will help us keep us hydrated the next ingredient is ginger fresh ginger you can also use powdered ginger and the reason i'm using ginger it's because it helps with a lot of gastrointestinal issues it also helps to accelerate gastric emptying to eliminate toxins residues and it also warms up our body which helps accelerate our metabolism we're going to blend this smoothie with green tea and green tea is a great ally for reducing belly fat green tea without the tea bag look at that creaminess yes i love this combination you guys the ginger gives it a really nice kick and it's sweet because of the date and the banana cheers the next smoothie will help in weight loss but this one specifically will help you to curve cravings for junk food and also keep your anxiety for food at bay first ingredient is strawberries and i chose strawberries because all berries contain a powerful antioxidant polyphenols that can stop fat from forming in your body [Music] if you can't find fresh then get frozen that's what i'm using here and they're out actually better for blending in smoothies um the next ingredient is beets and beets are rich in nitrates which have been shown to improve athletic performance if you're trying to lose weight it's important to stay active and work out and consuming meats on a regular basis will help your performance and yield better results the next ingredient is coconut oil we're going to be using half a tablespoon of coconut oil and coconut oil has been shown to prevent obesity to help with weight loss it's good healthy fats many people think that if you want to lose fat you have to reduce fat and that is not the case good fat helps you burn fat so for that reason we'll be adding one tablespoon of coconut oil and we're gonna blend with coconut water which is rich in antioxidants and electrolytes [Music] finally we're gonna add some cinnamon powder and this is one of the best spices that you can use if you're trying to lose fat to lose belly fat it helps curve cravings it helps with insulin resistance and it just tastes delicious [Music] let's blend [Music] [Applause] [Music] tastes so good but also very creamy from the coconut oil last smoothie is one of my personal favorites this is kind of like my go-to smoothie uh just because i'm a fan of blueberries and that's the first ingredient and i recommend frozen because they're cheaper they contain them the same amount of benefits of nutrients and they're also great for blending next ingredient is banana which will give our smoothie a creamy consistency it's also a great source of potassium which will reduce excess water retention bananas also give us energy they satiate us uh next ingredient is flax seeds and i'm using ground flax seeds and flax seeds are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids which will help reduce inflammation in your body and will also help with muscle recovery so you can eat a tablespoon of flax seeds after you work out and it will help you recover quicker to sweeten one date i'm also gonna add three tablespoons of oats and oats are great source of dietary fiber they're also a good carbohydrate this smoothie is a perfect post-workout smoothie that will refuel your body with energy and oats have been shown to reduce total body cholesterol if you're suffering from high cholesterol one and to blend just water another ingredient that i just thought of that's optional is greek yogurt if you want your smoothie to be a little bit more protein Turmeric wont work if you dont activate it with adding peper. Also, chia seeds need to be activated before blended by leaving them in water at least 10min, they expand 27 times its size that has to be done before you have them.
