so what crystals are good for someone who's a beginner and just learning about crystals and wants to start a collection where do you begin the first thing I recommend to anyone is always trust your gut about what you feel called to if you see something or if you pick something up and you feel something go with that you can read about crystals or you can use the intuitive method which I always recommend because I like people to make their own decisions but when people first start buying crystals and you go to Crystal shops or you go to fairs or gem shows or whatever most of the time what you're going to find are commonly available crystals things like amethyst rose quartz Carnelian and fluorite tourmalines garnets calcite subsidians it's important not to get analysis paralysis pick your favorite color or pick the prettiest stone that you see and eventually the crystals will take you on a journey and you'll figure it out and I wouldn't worry about it too much

I remember the first "big" crystal I bought – like other than little tumble stones etc. was Malachite- I was so drawn to it. I saw it on a YouTube video and I had no idea what it was took me forever to find it something about blue and green crystals, I just love them so much
