Totally disagree with Sadguru’s thoughts regarding reiki. Reiki is such a beautiful and intelligent energy that never harms anyone and if god knows someone in need of this energy healing , that person automatically attracted towards this energy and approach to reiki healer for healing. Very few people wants to learn reiki but many people wants to have reiki healing. So here God and universe energy decides who will be the Grandmaster of reiki and situation creates that that one person who is chosen from universe go for learning the reiki.
So Reiki energy is safe and it never interferes in anyone karma’s because getting healing with reiki energy is itself god and universe desire.
Reiki master and practitioner of 27 years as well as a yoga practitioner and teacher for 27 years end practitioner of martial arts and meditation for 34 years, I can say by direct experience and decades of expertise and practice that your words are completely erroneous. If the practitioner does not purify their channel with daily meditation then yes we are all at risk. People influence each other energetically just by interacting.
When you point a finger you have three pointing back at you sir. No true enlightened spiritual Master would have the desire to ride around on a 7 million dollar motorcycle. Just saying. may you be blessed with everything you deserve
I just came to know so many reiki practitioner are there in the comments section. Point he made is only a real surgeon can or should do surgery. Like a Zen master who dedicated whole life to the process. He didn’t say surgeon or surgery is bad.
My personal opinion is that we don't know what will happen in a few years and what the toll will be for using that invisible force. You don't know whose energy you have tapped into. My opinion.

The point he's making is there is a fine line between the ego wanting to help people from a place of wanting to play god or this master role where people have to come to you or else! That being said I am a reiki master myself and I take it like I've always told my clients, "I don't heal you" it is the clients choice to either choose to match the healers or teachers vibration or not! So to understand it is within each of us to do it ourselves is the key! The best teachers or healers simply hold safe, comfortable, sacred space for others to be themselves and let go of their 💩 or not!
So basically you are saying, that if someone is suffering because of a decease or some accident or mental issues, no professional should help them cause its all a part of god’s plan. Let me add up here a bit. Dont you think thats also meddling ? And if reiky helps someone feel better, and its done by someone who holds a certificate for it so being a professional, he shouldnt do it ?? Arent you a bit biased while having double standards ?

By the same token, a surgeon performing surgery (a qualified one not the one in his example) is doing the same, a marma practitioner, acupunturist, the people that give you panchakarma, the jyotisha that prescribes you gems or yagyas for the planets…they are all 'meddling' with your life and energy, in fact, the teacher that teaches meditation is meddling with your life and energy. So which is it? Yes, some practices need careful control, still…any healing (western or other), any meditation, asana, Kriya, mantra, yantra use, any of those, when prescribed by a teacher/vaidya/jyotisha, are meddling, the whole point of the vedas is to bring you back to source, and it does that by a myriad of pathways to get there, all of them meddle with you to make you whole again. Isn';t he playing God as well by 'teaching' and guiding others in a spiritual path?
And for most of the traditions mentioned above, including reiki, the idea is not to take someone's karma, but to help them in releasing it, and yes, the source of creation is in all of us, isn't that Sankara's whole point in vedanta?
i an a reiki grand master you so wrong it a university energy and Sadguru you do more harm than good.

There is no "risk" to end a reiki treatment.
All persons do Reiki treatments. The power is in our hands. Ask your chakras!
