[Music] there's different types of journaling for example there's gratitude journaling where people list something different every single day like three things every single day that they feel grateful for the benefit of that is that can really help shift your perspective from focusing on negative to really what is positive in your life so it can be very helpful for depression for example there's free association journaling so that's when you sit down and you don't necessarily have a topic and you just kind of vent on paper and you don't have to worry about grammar or editing and that can actually be a great way to express feelings and that's helpful for people who a lot of times feel bottled up or don't have people that they talk to about their feelings
