These 3 Diets Can Put Hashimoto's Into Remission

There’s no question that changing the food that you put into your mouth and body can have an impact on your immune system, thyroid, and overall health. This means that changing your diet has the potential to help you reduce or lower your thyroid antibodies if you have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Based on my experience, here are the 3 best diets to use if that’s your goal: 1. The gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free diet. Just removing these 3 food groups is enough for many patients with Hashimoto’s to see improvement. 2. The autoimmune paleo diet or AIP diet for short. I’m not a huge fan of the AIP diet but there’s no question that it has worked for many thyroid patients. 3. The carnivore diet. This low-carb diet has shown some promising results but you should be aware that low-carb diets can negatively impact thyroid function. Don’t be afraid to play around with your diet to see what works best for you. #hashimotos #thyroid #thyroiddiet #hypothyroidism #thyroidtreatment

there's no guarantee that changing your diet will put your Hashimoto's into remission but these three diets have helped a lot of other thyroid patients get their thyroid under control number one we have the tried and true gluten-free dairy-free soy-free diet I call this diet the Old Faithful diet because many thyroid patients with Hashimoto's have seen Improvement just by eliminating these three food groups if you aren't sure where to start at least try your best to eliminate gluten and dairy as that will give you the biggest bang for your buck number two we have the Autoimmune Paleo diet or the AIP diet for short there's no question that this type of diet is effective however it's very restrictive and long-term compliance can be an issue and number three we have the carnivore diet this diet's been getting a lot of attention lately and I have seen some pretty promising case reports but you should know that low carb diets have the potential to cause thyroid problems don't be afraid to experiment with your body to figure out which diet works best for you

  1. The information here was so eye-opening. It’s crazy how much diet can influence Hashimoto’s and overall inflammation. I had no clue how big of a difference going gluten-free could make until I gave it a real try. I learned a lot through the bbook The Ultimate Gluten Free Cookbook by Gina Orrantia—it guided me through meals that were simple yet healing. Even as someone who’s not great in the kitchen, I’ve been able to stay consistent and actually enjoy eating again.

  2. Get your own allergy test if you want it customized to your specific body and needs. And find out what your sensitive to get a complete food allergy test. You can even buy them online and do them at home

  3. Thank you for sharing ❤️

  4. The fox in front of the hen house.. doesn’t even mention fasting

  5. Thanks for your helpful presentation!

  6. Well you just pretty much contradicted yourself my man

  7. My culprits are #1 gluten, #2 soy , I think dairy is ok 👍

  8. I find the whole ‘eating less soy’ part interesting because the Japanese have a lower rate of Hashimotos 🤷‍♀️

  9. Can I ask why low carb can cause problems?

  10. Carnivore diet for hashimotos makes no sense. What you need to do is maximise antioxidants in the diet and reduce or eliminate what is highly inflammatory for you, specifically. I tested what I react to and for me, dairy is terrible, gluten is fine in Moderation (most people don't have issues with the gluten but with other components of Wheat) and soy I have no issues with whatsoever.

  11. I want to try the carnivore

  12. You can take my thyroid, but you can't take my cheese.

  13. I don’t want to eliminate ice cream and yogurt. 😭 please

  14. How do low carb diets affect thyroid?

  15. Soy allergy, gluten sensitivity and keto diet have created my hypothyroidism. So total NO! Going full vegan and eating good carbs has been improvement.

  16. When you say low carb could cause thyroid problems, what exactly do you mean?

  17. I've been dairy free for almost a year. Gluten-grain free and lectin free for 3 weeks under the direction of a nutritionist. We'll check my labs again in 90 days. Feel good, dropping weight. Fingers crossed.

  18. I’ve been doing the hashimotos protocol created by Dr. Izabella Wentz, found in her “Hashimotos Protocol” book. You do 3 phases to cleanse your liver, then adrenals, then gut. I’m currently on the gut balance protocol and have not been eating gluten, soy, dairy, and grains. I had my antibodies checked the other day. Last year they were at 960, and a few days ago they were at 317. Still not great but it’s definitely made a huge difference. I’m playing around with cutting out eggs now too.

  19. Way would the carnivore diet cause problems in Hashimoto’s?

  20. When you say dairy- is goat's milk and cheese including? Or only cow's milk and products?

  21. If you have dark hair it attack sunlight…and you head gets hot so wear a hat when you can…

  22. I have hashimoto’s and 2 nodules on the right side of my thyroid- I was diagnosed a week ago & started AIP the day after my diagnosis. So far it’s been life changing. Yeah, it’s restrictive, but I bodybuild so I’m able to switch my diet up instantly. I feel 1000x more energy, where before I was drinking 8 cups of coffee a day. Within a week I’m down to 1 cup (cold turkey) and feel no withdrawal symptoms. I feel more mentally sharp and all around better. Low inflammation diets, especially the AIP, has done wonders so far!

  23. By removing gluten, a little dairy and soy, adding selenium 200, Zinc 50, vitamin D (250 because I have a considerable deficiency) omega 3, my TPO levels went from 691 to 413 in 2 and a half months! Thank you Dr.

  24. Does this work for grave's disease

  25. Let me just say as a mexican taking away my food is the worst you can do to me

  26. Soon there will be a new diet called food free diet

  27. Number 4. Stop eating. 100% guaranteed to resolve all thyroid problems.

  28. I'm confused, should we try the carnivore diet or is too risky and can mess up the thyroid?

  29. I did the carnivore diet and although it did help certain symptoms, I started having problems with my thyroid levels. I don't mind going on a low-carb diet but not keto or a carnivore. I would be okay if I have meats and vegetables and occasional fruits. But the foods I need to limit or at least eliminate would be grains because my body just can't handle it on the regular basis. I don't eat fried foods like I used to anymore and if anything I would rarely eat fried foods now. I also try to read ingredients. But the question is, what do I replace yogurt with if I do avoid dairy? I also am showing signs of being allergic to nuts all of a sudden where it is hard to breathe if I eat them so no nut milks for me. I wish there is a farmer's market near me versus having to go to Walmart Target in Publix.

  30. I’m on carnivore diet. I was born with hypothyroidism and I take Levothyroxin & Prednisone. I only eat beef , butter , bacon , eggs & Redmond Real Salt. I eliminated ALOT of foods. I do Not eat gluten , soy , processed foods , nasty seed oils , and I don’t drink any kind of milk. I will beat this. I drink only water , not flavored water either.
This diet is our designated diet. Lots of protein and fats. Caveman were not fat at all , I guarantee that. In fact the caveman was very lean and muscular. 💪🏼🥩

  31. I was dairy free for 5 years, soy free for two years and gluten free. My thyroid got worse lol now I eat all three again but mainly eat more animal based and have been able to half my thyroid medication. Everyone is so different.

  32. Im 28, i was diagnosed with Hashimoto and hipothyroidism at 15, i took the food detective test and it showed i was intolerant to egg, dairy and wheat protein. My doctor said it happens every time to the patients with Hashimoto.

  33. A healthy mediterranean diet works brilliantly for me. I just don't do any white breads/wraps or white rice, etc, of any kind. Adding liberal amounts of olive oil and healthy fats is actually helping me on so many levels. I've cut this out my whole life, I was indoctrinated.

My body seems to respond positively to complex carbs, seafood, healthy fats, legumes, fruit and vegetables, etc.

  34. I’m gonna need for you to take that wig off so I can take you serious 😂😂😂. If it’s not a wig, then maybe give it a brush through before you go live.

  35. I have been gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, soy, corn, seed oil free…very strict and no change, worse even…I am histamine intolerant and the only time I feel good is not eat or just with some meat…I am gearing up for a serious try at Carnivore because I already restrict so much it would frankly be very easy…I love fat, it is what satiates me and I never crave sweets so I am lucky. I am however, going to continue to be very sick if I don't try something drastic and now because my Drs are not helping me. I am awaiting a biopsy too…Canada's system is broken, really really broken.
