did you know there is one specific method of stretching that is scientifically proven to be the most effective at improving your flexibility it's called PNF and here's how to do it step one find a passive stretch of whatever muscle it is you're trying to Target I'm showing you my favorite one for the hip flexors and hold that passive stretch for 10 seconds step two is to contract that same muscle that you're targeting for 8 seconds so in this example I'm going to think of scooping my thigh forwards and finally step three stop the contraction and then notice that you can move deeper into the passive stretch where you'll hold for another 10 seconds and then simply repeat that cycle three or four more times
