ow often is the water supposed to be changed ideally?
0:28 electric shocks ???
I typically yell "Serenity now" when i come out of the tank.
flotation is by no means "doing nothing" sorry
It has been life changing for me. I look forward to it. It really takes 4-6 times before you get it. I had one today which is probably the best ever. I went to a different place. It was surreal. The most serenity space. Helps with my sleep and anxiety. Helps me mediate. I journal afterwards and it’s amazing to read back. Bizarre. But amazing
I tried it but felt quite claustrophobic at first. There was no way I wanted to pull the lid down completely that felt like being in a coffin. I guess everyone is different in this respect and largely it depends on your experience of dark spaces (if they were traumatic then likely you might struggle). However it is an interesting experience and the data certainly looks positive. I am sure it must vary with the quality of the facilities and the welcome as ours was slightly disinterested and in a business park.
Float tank + hypnosis + manifesting
I only lasted about 12 minutes and had to get out of the float tank. I was anxious and didn't get the hype. My husband loved it, so I'll try it again, fingers crossed it will be different.
Weed is psychotic and dangerous. It destroys the brain no doubt about it.
Too bad most of us dont have money for this.
Thank you
That's great, but has it actually made you more resilient and able to handle more stressors? or is it just something that you feel like you need to have, like a crutch? I would genuinely like to know whether it has improved your condition. it's okay if it hasn't i just want to know
i had my first float today.. insane, it forces you to go into oblivion, you have no choice
I work at a float spa on the weekends. It’s truly the single most beneficial activity that has saved me from my own mind.
I’ve learned to think clearly with an open heart, about my life and experiences. My threshold for stress and anxiety is much more robust. And my favorite, it allows me to help individuals on the first float experience, and witness the change in their overall being after the float. Upside down frowns in 60 mins.
I recommend floating 100%. Ive had 3 floats so far. I wish i could do more. My mom had a stroke 4 years ago. Now im dealing w her dementia and balance issues w her. Shes getting worse. Im w her 24/7. I myself had several failed spinal fusions and im In constant pain. Ive tried everything to take it away. This is the only thing that completely takes my pain away. Definitely give it a try.
He’s spot on with his assessment.
i call it: forced meditation
My friend took me to a floating center in ocean city Maryland and it was amazing
I used this information for my studies on alternative therapy, I found this video to be packed full of so much useful information, thank you. greatly appreciated.
I did this 2x both are great felt no weight at all due to epsom salt
Fuck yeah I'm excited to try this better than illegal drugs lol
I joined a flotation place, and it was the best thing I ever did. I have severe anxiety, so when I feel the most stressed out, I will go and do a 90 minute float. I just wish the water was a little warmer.
I would freak out and try to get out. 😫
I'd love to try this sometime.
I dropped some LSD and got in one. It was the most beautiful experience of my life.
This should be the new household bathtub
People don't realize how powerful their mind actually is, you have the power to do amazing things, the problem with myself is I have so much anxiety I cannot focus on anything long enough to achieve my success, I've been successful, ive created amazing things, but I'm struggling really hard right now because I'm simply distracted, I have my first float session booked this Saturday, unfortunately its a 2 hr drive, but if this thing is amazing im going to look at building or buying one, because you absolutely cannot put a price on your mental health, a healthy mind will produce wealth.
