body is stiff in the morning and if you don't open up it'll stay that way so here's three stretches to do every morning take a big step forward and place the opposite hand on the ground the bigger the step the better the stretch twist the shoulders and hips towards that front leg while driving the hips down towards the ground the key here is to get the knees as far apart as possible then Rock the hips towards the heels and reach the hands forward for some spine and shoulder goodness place your hands behind you and lift your hips as high as you can keep the chest open by pushing into the ground more and more and don't forget to breathe

1st one is called LIZARD in yoga
(Crocodile pose is a different pose)
*Twists should not be done til body is warmed up & loosened up, actually deep stretches shouldn't done til whole body is warmed up, use repetitive motion & momentum to warm up BEFORE anydeep stretches
FROG asana is about opening the inner legs.
Another key to Frog is that the legs are in 90° (lower legs in less than 90° approacheschild pose)
* Half Frog is more accessible for most people, ie one side at a time
For a shoulder & spinal stretch, can do active child pose, with knees at exge of mat, and big toes touching.
Crab: hands & fingers should be facing / pointing towards the feet,

How do you deal with pain in the kneecaps for the frog stretch?
The crab is more of a strength move. I did a variation where my butt was on the floor.
