How to get more mobility in the knees 🦵🏽
Keeping mobility in your knees is important for walking, stairs, running and sitting on lower surfaces like sofas and toilets. ☝🏽
If you’re having difficulty with range of motion (bending and straightening) in your knees- these simple movements can help ✅
They shouldn’t cause significant pain and movements should not be forced ⚠️
The goal is to restore bending and straightening as best as you can without further irritating the joint 😇
Each movement can be done for 8-10 repetitions to start with, depending on how they feel 🙌🏼

three simple seated movements for really stiff knees sit at the edge of the chair slide your foot out as far as you can to work straight and then slide your heel as far as you can back to work bending out front and then slide back now slide your heel all the way back then raise it and press it down raise it and then press it down lastly elevate your heel work on pushing your knee straight down relax press your knee straight down use your thigh muscles and relax

May I ask you I just made 54 yes I have arthritis and yes I go to the gym I do leg extensions leg curls basically I have strong legs . But when I go to the bowling alley I come out of there in pain walk no pain , going upstairs no pain, attempting slide with the ball pain after the 2nd game . I can't get pass 2 games to enjoy myself. With out the ball sliding no pain. May I ask for your opinion what could be going on this so strange. 😢

Please my knees are locked bent when I stand makes it difficult to stand up straight then my foot cant touch the floor completely. Severely stiff with alot of behind the knee pain and front knee pain. I layed in bed for years always bending my knees side sleeper. Never straightened my legs for years I have very little muscle from losing 100 pounds fast and loose skin . Anything that can help more faster or easier
