Mobility is definitely important, but to say, lifting, heavy, or doing deadlifts or squats, with heavy weights is ruining your body is a bit much, only because it’s not actually a true statement. Lifting weights, strength training, according to the level an individual is at, Doesn’t mean they’re ruining their body. But I do enjoy the mobility exercises that you give. Thank you.

  8. I saw another video where she encouraged squats and another where she said not to do squats. She said you should be able to sit in a low squat position for a long period of time.

  12. I have to admit that I am questioning the idea that lifting heavy is the way for everybody as you age, to build and keep muscle mass. I have noticed that in some asían countries ( China, Japan)where people live longer and are strong in their old age, they don't do streneous exercises, they use their body weight, and practice gentle forms of exercises.

  17. I unfollowed her after this video. I liked her message about squatting and mobility but absolutely cannot support her spreading ignorant misinformation. Resistance or weight training does not “ruin your body”. On the contrary, it’s the best thing you can do for healthy aging. I wonder what her credentials are if any? Nevertheless, she is woefully ignorant about the value of weigh training.

  20. Heavy weight lifting, according to my back surgeon, said heavy weight lifting not only strengthens your muscles but also your bones. Also, longevity physicians say more muscle you carry into old age the better off you are and to keep training heavy.

  21. You don't have a body like hers doing little stretch movement. She is naturally petite and probably spends a LOT of time training everyday. Like a couple of hours at least. You need to work hard to get a good body and lifting weights is fantastic at sculpting your body and keeping it strong. Crawling is a waste of time. We are not babies.
