intermittent fasting for dummies and how it helps you lose belly fat this is an empty stomach equivalent of 2.5 fluid ounces inside on the complete opposite Spectrum this is a full stomach 35 fluid ounces now this is what I call Progressive fasting this here is week one and this is represented of 12 hours of fasting and eating in a 12-hour window period do you already see the size difference you're already establishing a caloric deficit by only eating in a 12-hour window period in the following week I want you to progressively increase your fasting window and go to 1410 and only eat in a 10 hour window period then you'll move on into the classic 168 the one that everyone loves and you fast for 16 hours and you eat in an 8 Hour window period that means you'll have your first meal at 12:00 p.m. last one at 8:00 p.m. then you can move on into 186 you have your first meal at 2:00 p.m. last one at 8:00 p.m. and then when I'm under 2,000 calories when I'm about to step on stage I usually fast for 20 hours and eat in a 4-Hour window period and you can see that by fasting you're progressively establishing a caloric deficit allowing you to lose more fat bye

  1. I don’t understand what he is trying to illustrate with the various balloons. I don’t see any major difference, except for the last one. I see no difference in the content of the balloons. I have no idea what it adds to his story. It could have been much clearer.

  2. Which option is the best for gym rat?

  3. Is it better to do the eating window in the afternoon/evening? Ive been eating in the morming to noon and fasting from 12 to 7am the next day

  4. isn't it amazing the full stomach is nearly 14x the size of the empty one

  5. How do you build muscle mass while working out daily?

  6. What do we do at the end of the 20:4 week. Stay on the 20:4?

  7. Smaller stomach does not mean you're going to lose weight, no matter how much you fast, calories are the only thing that will ever matter.

Like I can eat 2 slices of cheesecake from cheesecake factory and probly over my caloric limit.

  8. Can i also do my first meal at 10am and last meal at 18 pm

  9. Also, I'm very confused about metabolic adaptation or metabolic slowing due to restricting calories. I lost a bunch of weight in the past and eventually my body metabolism slowed and I started gaining weight. Now when I try to eat at my maintenance level I gain weight. How do I get my system to adapt to normal eating?

  10. Do you eat the same amount of calories in the shorter period. For instance, if your maintenance calories are 2000, do you eat 2000 in the non-fasting period of time?

  11. I am ding a mix of all with sometimes 24 hours plus fasti g

  12. Hello Mike,

First of all, I'm following recently all your videos.

For many years, I haven't been able to get below a certain level of bodyfat rate with traditional fitness and diet routines. Now I'm planning to try at least 10,000 steps walking a day and weekly fasting periods.

My 1st question: Isn't fasting just about consuming calories? Can we drink liquids like water, soda, or coffee in fasting periods?
My 2nd question: In my normal diet, I try to eat regularly every 3-4 hours between morning 8:00 to midnight 24:00. Now, in fasting periods; should I keep my total protein, carb, and fat intake the same and eat them totally during the non-fasting period?
    Thanks,

My last question: I was taking casein around 11:00 PM. How do I manage this?

  13. Not you neglecting both your accent AND the metric system. Tjo
