Here's how to quickly fix rounded shoulders.
Have very good upright posture. Straighten your arms at the elbow, have them slightly off to the
side. Have your palms facing away from you. Press backward with your hands and palms until you feel
a deep stretch in your chest, shoulders and upper back. From there, we're going to take this one to
the next level by making fists and then putting them into the small of the lower back. Press in
slightly for a stable anchor point and then wing your elbows backward as much as you can. You'll
feel a deep activation of the muscles in the chest, shoulders, and in between the shoulder blades. Hold
this one comfortably for about 10 to 15 seconds. From there, you can relax, take a breather. On the
next repetition, try to build into it even more. You want to do this one three to five
times. This is something that you can do throughout the day to build strength and,
hopefully, improve rounded shoulder posture.

Yeah, this is a real one.
I consistently strain/pull my rhomboid (or some level of trapezius) seemingly for no reason. Research concludes rounded shoulders/poor posture keeping them over stretched and fatigued leading to strain. This exercise opens up the chest and strengthens those back muscles. Dr. Rowe makes great content and has helped me with many aches and pains. Highly recommend subscribing. Keep up the great work, Doc!

I've been working on fixing my rounded posture with exercises such as this. I can keep up with the exercises, but the most difficult part for me is getting into the habit of not slouching at all times, especially while relaxing on my computer and such. It's really hard because I've been a sloucher nearly my entire life. I just do it without thinking about it, and I feel goofy when I walk around with perfect posture and neck position, even though it's the correct way to position it.
I wish I could afford to pay someone to follow me around to slap my back every time they see me slouching again. 😂
