hey everyone it's Jennifer Panza here I'm a yoga teacher and a wellness advocate with doTERRA and I'm super excited today to talk to you guys a little bit about what is going on with essential oils let's understand a little bit more about how to use them the health benefits of them and how to really distinguish between the different brands and how you can really use them for your health benefit besides just the diffuser as there's a lot of confusion out there of what's happening and how do you know what to choose as a consumer so I'm here to help spread a little bit of light on how you can understand a little bit more about essential oils and really incorporate them into a healthy wellness lifestyle from an educated standpoint and also we're gonna share the three essential oils that everybody must have in their medicine cabinet or in their purse at all times as a just in case [Music] so essential oils have been around for thousands of years but just recently there's been this influx of them into the market you're finding them everywhere you go someone is using an essential oil a fun fact that I like to share is that the only regulation in the essential oils industry right now is that 10% of the bottle needs to be the ingredient that it says on the label in order for them to write the words 100% pure so the chances are that that bottle is actually fully what what it says it is is not very likely so when you're using these oils you want to make sure that you're using an oil that is what it says it is and that it is that pure essential oil so you can get the full benefits of the essential oils for me I got started in the essential oils because I had a issue with my tooth and it was really interesting because I used the essential oils and the dentist actually told me that what they use in the dentist's office is just the synthetic version of the essential oil itself so nowadays with our consciousness and our collective awareness increasing we're realizing that we can use the essential oils and really cut to the root cause of the problems that we're experiencing in our lives instead of just treating the symptoms so essential oils are incredible for really using a natural way to shift your being whether that's an actual health concern or if that's just something that you want to have more purity within your home and reduce the overall toxicity within your house these oils themselves actually come from 40 different countries all over the world and that when you're purchasing a doTERRA oil you are not just buying an oil that is just supporting some big company you're actually supporting the farmers and the growers in developing nations all over the world who now have fair trade and have a way to really truly support their families and that also helps you in your daily life to get a product that you know that you can trust essential oils can be used of course the aromatic way is amazing and it's a wonderful way to shift your energy shift your emotions and uplift you but you can use them also two different ways you can apply them topically where they can get directly into your bloodstream and if they are certified PR therapeutic grade and they are designed for internal use you can actually take them to help your body on a natural level the last thing I want to talk about is the three essential oils that are the must-haves in every household and the first one is frankincense so frankincense has a whole host of benefits that I would love for you to read about more in depth by clicking the link to the article below this video and I want to highlight frankincense because the research that's coming out on this essential oil right now will blow your mind it is so incredible and from an energetic perspective frankincense will balance your root chakra and your crown chakra by doing that it will create this balance this this connection of yourself to the present moment when you are in space of balance and then also it increases oxygen flow to the brain I take it one drop of the doTERRA essential oil internally every single day and I even use it to help my wrinkles with anti aging so this one has so many benefits and so many uses and the reason why I can take this particular brand internally is because it's size that on the back it says it's specifically made for internal use so just make sure that before you're jumping off of this video and dumping oils in your mouth that you're really reading the labels and you know from an informed place how to use these particular essential oils but frankincense is a must and the second essential oil I want to talk about is breathe and this one is absolutely wonderful for any one who could use a deep breath and I think that's all of us so when you're using the breathe essential oil this one is peppermint lemon eucalyptus and laurel leaf and it is fantastic for opening the air pathways so when you breathe it in you can instantly feel the chest start to open the sinus is clear and it allows you to receive fully all of the oxygen into your body so it's great before you do yoga practice before a run or any time that you feel stressed and you need to take a deep breath the last oil that I want to talk about is lavender and this is a more common essential oil that most people might have at home and it is so amazing this essential oil is all things all things soothing so if you might have a restless mind if you would like to sleep better and longer this essential oil is for you and fun facts that you might not know is that you can actually take this and put it on your body for sunburns or even if you have bug bites because it is an antihistamine as well so he's just central oil has many many different uses that it can be used on a therapeutic level we have a saying in the essential oils world that's really fun and we say there's an oil for that so no matter what you are going through in your life whether it's emotional its physical or it's an energetic spiritual thing we have an oil that can help you create balance in your life what I love most about essential oils is that they're a tool to instantly shift your vibration into a higher state of being with these pure essences will allow you to fully be in the present moment and and energetically heal yourself physically heal yourself and and truly be the best version of yourself which is amazing the best way to get started with essential oils is actually to get one of these little starter kits which I have on display here and that way when something comes up you have a basic array of essential oils that you can use just like in the kitchen you might have garlic and pepper and salt as a staple it's the same thing with essential oils you want to have some of these basics so that you have them accessible to you so how you do that is you can just click the link below and that will take you to the doTERRA website and then you can pick out the starter kit that is best for you based on where you're at today and when you purchase that starter kit you're gonna get the best thing of all which is a personalized guru session where you get to get a customized plan for you specifically on how to use the oils how to incorporate them into your daily routine based on your goals and your shifts that you would like to make in your life I am so excited for you to get these little bottles of joy into your home and to truly transform your life thank you so much for watching and I hope to see you soon [Music] you

Great video, I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and essential oils have really helped along side the yoga 😀 . Essential oils have really helped keep my extra hormones/emotional state in check and was recommended to use aroma therapy

Amazing job budd 👍🏻
Essential oils are a wonderful healing tool. Why do they work? If you smell something, that means you are inhaling some of the chemical / bio-chemical. Which means, of course, that some of it is getting into your lungs and your blood stream.
So, just like a medicinal patch delivers medicine through the skin, so also can you deliver healing bio-chemicals through inhalation.
They are wonderful, but there are some cautions. Some essential oils are too strong for people with various conditions…whether it is an allergy to the specific herb, or the essential oil is just too strong. And, for pets, essential oils can be very unhealthy because their systems sometimes cannot process strong odors well.
"Inhaling diffused oils can be harmful for your pet and could result in aspiration pneumonia. While you might be able to use a diffuser in a room that's off-limits to your pet, if your furry friend already has a breathing problem, then having one in the house is not a safe option."

Hi! I use Aromatherapy for PTSD and anxiety and I find lavender really calming and it helps me sleep, but it also triggers my asthma if I run it too long. It's they're anything you would recommend that is asthma friendly that might have a simular affect?
