Only Train Front Split Like This #flexibility & #stretching #science

How to Do the Front Split?

If you're searching for how to do the front split, one of the most important things to focus on is paying equal attention to both your front and back leg. The front split stretches the hip extensors of the front leg and the hip flexors of the back leg. Therefore, stretching these components separately is the first essential step in learning the front split.

this is how most people train for the front split they simply get into this position and hold it but there is a better way you see the front split stretches both the haming of the front leg and the hip flexors of the back leg and although there's nothing wrong with stretching them at the same time you'll get better results by stretching them separately first so start your workout by stretching the hamstrings alone for a few sets then move to the hip flexors for a few sets finally put it all together in a front split this way you'll have the time to address each component separately before combining them if you like evidence-based Fitness videos follow for more

  1. Question, should i stretch everyday?
    If not, how often?
If so, how many times a day

  2. I was always told to keep the back leg almost sideways if you slip on that toe you can tear something

  3. Am I the only one that needs a cushion for my knees? Hurts when I’m placing my knee on the ground with my full weight

  4. Is this based on published research or is it based on client/personal experience?

  5. I feel like there is so much material on strength training, and bodyweight progressions. But straight up flexibility training seems less common. I love these videos you do!

  6. 🏳️‍🌈. Thank you. You make it look so simple. You forgot to say how long it takes to reach the full stretch. 😃

  7. Great stuff my friend. It’s true.

  8. Dancer split vs gymnastics split is what we’d say in ballet ahhaahah
