Sleep Hygiene Tips



If you struggle with getting a good night's sleep, it may have to do with your sleep hygiene! We've got some great tips to help you make a healthy change.

– Alright, so does a good night's sleep ever seem impossible to you? Well, it could be your bedtime routine that's causing the problem. So here's some great ways to practice good sleep hygiene. – [Announcer] First, make sure you're allowing enough time for sleep in your day. – Everyone should sleep 7 and 1/2 plus hours per night. Because your brain needs to recharge the battery. It's like your cell phone. You need to sleep at least 7 and 1/2 hours. – [Announcer] Next, check the technology at your bedroom door. – Our phones, iPads, computers. So this bright light within the spectrum of the daytime light, fool our brain thinking it's the daytime. Preventing melatonin to be released. Our brain make melatonin when the light goes down, and that's help us to settle in those healthy progressions through the sleep cycle. – [Announcer] Third, avoid alcohol in the hours before bedtime. – Drinking alcohol close to bedtime can lead for us to have misregulated sleep cycle. So we go to deep sleep too fast, and then wake up in the middle of the night, and you cannot fall asleep again. – [Announcer] And finally, another thing to cut out before bed is carbs. – Large amount of carbs close to bedtime also change how your brain cycles through the normal sleep cycle. People fall asleep too deep too fast, and then they may have indigestion problem. They can have GERD symptoms, acid reflux which wake them up throughout the night. – [Announcer] There you have it, some great ways to promote sleep hygiene.

  1. When I hear girls hygiene, immediately comes to my mind they have boogers in nostrils, white build up on tongue, terrible morning breath, intestine full of shit, stinky asshole, armpit, feet n bellybutton,boogers on the corner of eyes n period stink too
