[Music] hi my name is Zuber and this is my [Music] story Zan was my only son um I have a beautiful daughter as well an older sister to Zan um and he was born fine but at 5 weeks old we found out that he was diagnosed with a condition called dilated cardiopathy um in Ence it's disease of the heart [Music] muscle we got him to this year 9 years old you know nine beautiful years with nearly 10 and yeah he just suddenly took a turn for the worst unfortunately he just deteriorated really quickly his heart obviously wasn't working properly and then in the end we found out that he needed a new heart but unfortunately um some of his other organs in his body were starting to shut down and by the time he got to hospital it was just a little bit too late words just don't do him Justice and he died with the most beautiful smile on his face and for that you know we know he went peacefully and he was treated like like a king and forever we forever grateful I know he's in a better place now and and one day we'll we'll see him again we'll see him [Music] again I love football I know the lamb was a happy place for me and Zan even though he came a few times you just get away from the world for 2 hours and just sit there enjoy it like my son would Shout at the referee would shout oh come on that was a foul come on ref and loads of things like that you got to go to anfield a few times as well and he loved it you know um singing his little heart out um he just yeah shut off on the world and you just sit there and enjoy it the first home game of the season it was a beautiful beautiful day um I got presented with an amazing framed um picture uh Team of a year picture from last season and the good thing about it was that it wasn't actually purchased by the club it was actually the players dipped into their own pockets and purchased this picture and signed it and now it sits proudly in my house on my wall and I got given u a tam football shirt with Zan's name and number nine on the back and it just ah it was absolutely beautiful and now that sits in my living room on my wall that I can look at it every day but the best thing of the day was 2,000 people clapping all together for a minute before kickoff it was just a beautiful beautiful day I think mental health has been made a big deal of and rightly so um there's a lot of hardship in this world and with mental health it's so good to talk um there's not a day that goes by that if I don't talk about my Zan I don't feel comfortable even coming to to football club to watch football I know it's not just about that I come and sit by myself sometimes but it takes you two minutes just to talk to the person next to you I met a wonderful guy called V the other day he was 90 plus years old he's been coming for years and it was just wonderful to hear his stories and he just sat there talking to me I met another guy an 80-year-old guy called Steve when I came on Tuesday night and you just talk about football and you have a laugh and a joke and it's just absolutely beautiful and you wouldn't get all of this if you just didn't talk it's you just got to look out for yourself and one of the big things is just be kind to yourself you're not here by yourself you've always got support [Music]
